I did try that, but for some reason, the edit button is grayed out and his raw stats display as 0-0-0-0-0-0-0. I changed mozu's id to his, so i thought that may have been the issue at first, but adding the unit file in fresh wouldnt let me edit them either.
attempted fixing stats in hex editor. raw stats readout did change, but the stats themselves stayed capped. if i try promoting him, he gains stats to the point of capping again, too.
I don't know then. Might be an hardcoded in his files, but I've been away from this for so long I can't remember.

I have a small issue. So after installing this hack my heirs of fates DLC is glitchy and the portraits don't show up right. How do I fix this?

I got a folder that had both dlcs installed and stuck all the files from it into the user folder for fates in the extdata folder. cant remember where i found the merged folder, but im sure i can refind it for you if you needCould you tell me how you did to make them work in citra please? I tried but I could notplease
If you could, I'd really appreciate it. I was guided by what you wrote before, and at least I could import units from both Cutom Dlc, although those DLC itself does not work, with the extdata files and the FEFTwiddler, I could run units, although I can not make them coexist, as you it happened to you
After some attempts, I managed to get the units of both custom dlc to work, but only if I put the last of Deathchaos to the last one, that is, overwriting the extdata of Omegablu with that of Deathchaos.

Can you get banned for using these characters? I remember reading something about the game not automatically detecting units that are acquired as an einherjar or the logbook to flag to flag players for a shadowban. These look like einherjar units to me.

The characters are all fine online unless they have an enemy only class, skill, or weapon. In which case you would get banned if you put the unit on an online squad but be able to play once you remove them from that squad.
Both are techinically possible, but would require a lot of modeling work.

I thought it wouldn’t require as much work as it used to now since the scene probably progressed a lot and more reliable tools are made, but I guessed it’s still the same?
It's less work then two years ago, but still more than I personally would like to do. There are others who are messing around with it though.
Minimal, I can't bring myself to touch Fates anymore after I burnt out a while ago. Maybe someday I'll do more with this but probably not in the near future.
