Send me one of the saves and I can try to resign and install it.

The saves created and export under that account works with SW. A few don't for unknown reasons (backup game with fake title ID maybe?).

So you think it is related to the source game the same came from maybe being a bad rip (if an f-pkg).?

Are you sure that the save came from a fake pkg and not a retail one?

I have unfortunately no idea... :/
I found the GOW3 and GTAV from the same source on se7ensins.com/forums "mega-ps4-game-saves-database-archived"
For GOW4 is was from thetechgame.com "ps4-modded-game-saves.html"

I am not saying that is the cause, but trying to restore am f-pkg save to a retail game and vice-versa will result in the "your save is corrupt" error.

I have not had the chance to try out the save you sent as my weekend went to crap due to family issues. Plus it will take my installing the different version of GOW to test it out, and I am not 100% sure you can have the same game from two different regions installed. I would think that you could since they have different CUSA's, but I don't know until I try, and I am trying not to much up my PS4 DB (again) :)

OK, so not 100% sure how I did it, but I was able to take one of my save from my non-activated PS4 (collected using Stooge's SG-DB backup) and was able to restore it onto the activated profile (and play it from my save point).

I used Save Wizard and I tried a bunch of different things trying to get it to recognize the saves and finally was able to by playing the game up until I could save it on the Activated profile and playing around combining the save files. I finally could identify the old saves and resign them with the activated profile.

The one I was successful on was GOW (Au version, 7410). I am going to try to resurrect my Nier Automata save, trying to reproduce my steps (and paying a lot more attention to what I do and hopefully finding out what works). Once I get that worked out (if I can even reproduce the success) I will post those steps here.

ok, 46 hours worth of Nier Automata salvaged! The GOW was from the same PS4 Pro, per-activated to post-activated. Nier was from a different PS4 Slim (also per-actived) to the activated PS4 Pro. It was successful. Now I just need to play around with the steps a little to see what it really needed to make it work. I already cut out a couple of steps (of the ones I remembered) just to try it. I will take that a step further to see how lean I can make the process. Either way it was minutes to get them resigned.

So you suceed to restore a save from a non-activated ps4? wow, if it’s possible it would mean I can restore my own gow save, I have a back up made from ftp. It could amazing

Yes, 100% possible. I restored a couple more saves onto the Pro (had to hunt as I did not install many of the same apps on the Pro as I have on the Slim). So far all were successful (tested by loading up the game and playing a bit). The only requirement is the Save Game Wizard. What I do not know is if I signed your save if it would import/work on your console, as the "profile", even though a shared one, came from my console, or if there is something "extra" per console (sort of like the only Windows NT SIDs). But we can try. I am tied up at work (super late here) so no tutorial tonight, but I do have screenshots ready for a post. Let's do an experiment, shoot me your backed up save (whole CUSA folder under savedata) and I will see if I can re-sign it. That will be the perfect way to test if there is any console specific flag to the profiles.

in case anyone cares, the accounts real name for this activate profile is "eXtremeGamerOne" but the profile shows "Activated" being the name on the PS4.
It would be nice if we can figure out how to change the accounts name to show as "user1" so that we can activate remoteplay with the IDU method on this profile. Game saves and remoteplay would be a nice step forward for the community until more things are discovered. if anyone has info on modifying the profile name please share your knowledge with me, I would like to take a crack at it.

You can do game saves now from your pre-activation backups, if that is what you meant?

And yea, I would love to know how to change the display name also, although the PSN ID will almost assuredly stay the same.
