So, I was trying to update my games last night and I found out I was banned.

What did I actually lose other than not able to upgrade my games? Is online playing really worth it?

Anyway, I am not a online subscriber and I did not buy any games digitally.

Depends on the level of your ban really. Check to see if you can still do firmware updates. If you can then all you probably lost was online gaming and e-shop access

While getting banned sucks, it is really not that bad.
Only thing obvious you lose; official online capacities.
Which include; online access (there are workarounds), cdn access (so no updates to games (the easy way).
You gained a Switch you can mess with.

Personally I have a superbanned Switch and a ipatched one. And im enjoying both.
The only real downside is; no save transfers possible between them (for obvious reasons)

Awesome, i havent heard from a banned person in a LONG time! D: let me go and check my Switch!
You lose nothing. My advice is buy 2rd switch and keep it unhacked and clean for online play if you can afford it.

Thanks for reviving a dead thread. e.e
