Was finally going to settle in last night and play something other than Yu-Gi-Oh but I keep forgetting AP patching isn't automated, so my Spirit Tracks train had no brakes
Probably not the best place to ask, but does anyone know the best way to locate DSiMenu++ compatible patches?

Check the AP patch preservation thread.

Check the AP patch preservation thread.
Either the patch is bad or my ROM isn't clean. I had read in another thread before posting here that the AP Patch there didn't work for another poster either, but I can't seem to test it on a clean ROM since Nintendo apparently wiped the internet clean of them.
Either that, or I'm doing a bad job trying to patch it. Pretty sure Xdelta uses its own filetype, and not the .crack extension.

EDIT: I tried a new ROM and a different download of the patch and got the same result. Also, for some reason the patch reduces the filesize of the ROM, which is weird. It's listed as "working" on the compatibility list, so at least those three people know how to fix this :/

All I did was what the instructions said. I dropped the .nds file onto the Windows Batch Operation file and it spat out the "cracked" file, which is about 30MB smaller than the original each time. I'm looking into this "DS Scene Tool" or another solution, as I've already tried three different patch downloads with two different ROM files -_-

EDIT: SUCCESS! I could have saved myself three hours if I had just used the "[Thing] For Dummies" and quit trying to learn to a thing myself. What a pain, though. I guess those patches WERE intended for flashcarts, though.

Alright so I have a problem and this is the only place I can think of to ask. I just recently installed the Twlightmenu++ on my New 3DS XL, followed the instructions in the description to a T and now after running the menu all of 1 time to play a little bit of pokemon platinum before going to bed for the night, I can now no longer turn on my 3DS to boot into my home screen. I get my custom splash image when i turn it on, then just black on both screens. Has anyone else come across this issue, am I missing something that i shouldnt have? Is there a fix to my problem as I cannot even load Luma or GodMode9 menus when booting my 3ds. I tried replacing my boot.firm to see if something just got corrupted but to no avail. Any help would be great.

Does twilightmenu work on a DSi without CFW and without any exploits just with an flashcard?

The info suggest it only works with DS models on a flashcards

Edit: Fixed

Hey, fresh off of seedminer, and trying to get this installed.

New3DS, fairly standard Luma3DS and seedminer setup, v 11.8. Luma is setup for patching, and other Homebrew work. I've installed Twilight Menu through FBI so I can launch it from the homescreen, but doing so gives me the standard error message:

An error has occured.
Hold down the POWER Button to
turn off the power, then turn it on
and try again.

Then I have to shut it down.

I also tried booting from the 3DS Homebrew Channel, but same error.

Also waiting on the new DS bios stuff to download, but it seems no one's seeding right now, so haven't had much chance to try. So thought I'd post here, see if I can get some help. :)

EDIT: Oh geeze. I went back through my install, and discovered I made a typo in a folder name. I fixed it, reloaded the card, and it's all good now. I think I need sleep. :)
