yes, from the menu that shows up when you inject hekate. As @Maupiti has mentioned, though, hekate - as of version 4.1 - apparently automagically shuts down the system when you inject the payload after a HOS shutdown, i.e. you only need to inject the payload and it'll shut down.

Also note that if you try and charge your switch when it is fully powered off, it'll boot into RCM instead. So you can't charge it when it's off, either.
I guess it's only in sleep mode when I'm really only able to charge my Switch, then.

Not really.., you can trigger the charging « issue » with AutoRCM, by powering off the switch via Hekate menu (power off) .
BUT ... the charger has to be plugged BEFORE you power off...

The idea is that..when you are in RCM mode... any usb device plugged AFTER powering off
will awake the switch and put it on RCM again...

If you truly shutdown a switch (via Hekate menu , SXOs menu) you won’t have any charging issue with AutoRCM as long as the charger has been connected before the shutdown.

Black screen after splash ReiNX

2 questions:
- Does someone know how to "reset" reinx config? I have tried replacing the reinx content with the same version (latest) but config stays the same
- Is KIP selection something that could cause black screen after splash in ReiNX or is it unrelated?

I just installed ReiNX, when I boot I get the splash logo and then black screen afterwards. The last thing I did before getting the black screen was enabling fs_mitm.kip and pm.kip in the toolkit.

After panicking a bit, I finally resorted to boot Hekate instead, and then proceeded into the ReiNX toolkit NRO from Hekate in an attempt to remove those KIP selections again. Now there are the following options:

fs_mitm.kip checked
fs_mitm.kip (listed again but with X)
loader.kip checked
nogc checked
pm.kip checked
pm.kip (listed again but with X)
sm.kip checked

I can disable and enable loader.kip, nogc, sm.kip but none of the 4 instances of fs_mitm.kip and pm.kip (checked and unchecked). Instead I get the error: "Failed to toggle KIP" with "Error code -1"

I'm having trouble starting my Switch outside of RCM mode after only restoring Boot0 and Boot1, so now I get package2 magic invalid error. how do I fix this?

I want to use REINX, is it working in the current version 6.0.1? and still have to run from scratch every time the console is rebooted?

Oh, by the way, AutoRCM isn’t even on, and I don’t know how to combine my separate files into a full NAND file. I want to know if I don’t even need to do a full restore.

Okay, new problem. I combined them into Rawnand.bin, only for Hekate to say it’s the wrong size. The files were dumped into Nand.bin.bin.00 through 09. Again, I’d like to know if I can skip this step if I only restored Boot0 & Boot1

Either look up on how to join individual parts on your computer or use one of the joiner scripts located on CTCaer's GitHub page.

Okay, I already tried those and nothing seemed to happen, so I went with another program to covert it into a.bin file. The problem was that I got the “size of the sd card backup does not match emmc selected part size” message even though it’s the usual size of around 29gb. I wasn’t really sure if restoring the Boot0 & Boot1 files would do anything specific to keep me from turning on the console normally.

So.. I installed the AutoRCM and the switch died over night (not sure why). Now I can't boot it up at all and it doesn't appear on my computer. Am I fu**ed or do I just need to charge it longer?

EDIT: ALL GOOD! Managed to start it now! Need to figure out why ut shutdown and why the battery drained so quickly...

You didn’t power it off properly (went back to RCM but un-noticed because of black screen), let it charge fo few hours and you’ll be fine

i have similar problem with fs_mitm making it goes blank after the anime girl boot.

solution: use other fs_mitm. In my case, i use the one from SDFILES.

The sleep mode bug still persist. I am using the latest reinx built on 6.0.1 system, and the console wont wake up after sleep mode. Everything is fine when booted into ofw
