According to hexkyz the exploit was not properly patched in 6.0.X either and they had a workaround. The only reason deja vu is getting a release is because another person unknowingly reported it to Nintendo without realising he discovered the thing other devs refer to as deja vu. So chances are it will support 6.0, too
They didn't report the entire exploit, only a piece of it. Despite this minor error, most of your case still stands. In all honesty, it's a pretty laughable predicament.

No, Deja Vu was the same exploit people were referring to on firmwares 4.1 and below. Firmwares 3.0 and below would likely see the exploit being released earlier than those on 3.0.1-4.1, but the manner of the exploit has always involved loading a webpage. And Deja Vu hasn't been completely patched out on firmware 5.X otherwise they would have no reason to hold back on releasing it.
According to @_hexkyz_ there's no reason to stay on a lower firmware right now.
I think deja vú will be compatible until 6.0.1

I can stay on FW 3.0.0 or i update switch???
The exploit used to run Atmosphere called Fusee Gelee works on all firmware of unpatched Switch units. While you do not have to update your firmware, if you want to update, I would highly recommend doing so with ChoiDujourNX. It'll ensure you don't burn fuses meaning you will be able to return to your original firmware while being able to enjoy all of the benefits of being on a higher firmware.

I’m not sure if this is for all FW Or maybe just 4.1.0 to 6.0.1 ?

I’m on 2.3.0 and am under the impression I should stay here for now (eFuses wise)

You can prevent burning fuses with Choidujour and if your Switch is one of the millions of hackable switches there is no reason to stay on that version

Oh okay! Question.
Could Nintendo detect someone via by paying for their internet services on the Switch?
Or is there a CFW to bypass that?
Until further notice, assume that connecting to any Nintendo service online with any kind of hack on your Switch is a big chance of getting banned.

I am still on 5.1.0 and have been REALLY on the fence about whether I should stay here or not. I don't yet have my Switch hacked, but was afraid of updating past 5.1.0, in case I get screwed when I do get around to it. In wanting to apply the new update to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Torna Golden Country that came out today, it means I need to be on 6.0.1, which means an official firmware update, burning fuses and all, since I don't yet have my Switch hacked. Really hard decision for me to move ahead, or forfeit. Anyone else care to elaborate on the above? Very tempting coming from someone so reputable in the scene.
