What CFW/OFW are you on? I'd suggest pulling the battery for a bit then putting it back in and try turning it on again.

Try booting into recovery mode to see if it works. Besides that, are there any small sounds coming from the system when you try to turn on, a popping sound for example or something? Could just be something inside got pulled out if the system was shook suddenly or mishandled...

Try turning it totally off, then unplugging all external devices. Charger, sd, and cartridge. Then boot it back up again.

Happened to me, that's what I did to fix it.

- No custom firmware.
- No popping noise.
- No Recovery Mode.
- Battery trick didn't work.
- Charges and turns on with orange light.
- Blank screens and no sound.
- Does not boot to HOME Menu even without the SD card and game cart inserted.

This sounds like a non-fixable, water damage hard brick.

If it's not that but happens to be a repairable hardware issue.

Check your flex cables for any broken leads or loose connections; use a magnifying glass.

You can also try disconnecting the camera flex cable. There's a weird BSoD brick-like state that the n3DSXL / n3DSLL can experience when this goes bad. Read about it here in the off chance you have this:
if you got money to spare to get another n3DSXL/LL at hand, you can swap their motherboards. This would check if the problem is coming from the motherboard itself or the accessory parts.

hey, I wasn't asking you to be a smartass with that lmgtfy bullshit, just saying I was unaware of such a thing, but hey, if it makes you feel like a big man to post such responses... go on with your bad self.
Waah, feelings...
