Sorry OP, but I just wanted to assert that I really dislike when people ask for things silver plated.
It shows arrogance and kind of a feeling of entitlement, as if people were just slaves that have to give you an answer server plated when you don't do any effort on your own.
At least show that you tried looking on your own.
I don't know, at least some "I've heard of some SX device", or "I've read about some custom firmware and I want to play backups, but I don't understand how", or anything, show that you made some effort before asking something like "Hey slave, I want to pirate, go write me a detailed tutorial while I scratch my balls".
IMHO.
That's not what I said, but I will kind of interpret what I think you're trying to say and answer.Personally I don't see the issue someone comes to forum where they figure out people here know how to pirate games no need to be toxic or just think negatively about someone simply wanting information it just creates a cloud of toxicity where otherwise not needed some people are just kind in willing to give information because kindness costs them nothing but maybe a few seconds of their time who cares a few seconds to help someone never hurt anybody. No one thinks of you as their slave or is arrogant and entitled it's just a person looking for some kindness. I mean Jesus Christ can't a guy just ask a goddamn question without someone jumping down their throat.
For me I don't really see the issue with people just coming to these forums and asking for help without doing any research obviously we can't get to everyone but I'm just sick and tired of people being passive aggressive d-bags when someone just asks a question on a forum instead of just using google. It was mainly when you said it shows arrogance or a false sense of entitlement when I don't see this as the case and just adds more than what there really is and not just looking at what's there. That's not what I said, but I will kind of interpret what I think you're trying to say and answer.
I don't see a problem with people asking for help.
I do see a problem when people don't do some research and order around for a solution without even saying "please". It's a question of etiquette, and lacking some respect towards who you're asking for help, as I said it shows entitlement.
That said I agree people shouldn't be "toxic" or negative and call names.
Instead one should be polite and explain exactly why there is a problem, what is the thing one finds offensive and how could it be solved, all the while being respectful and reasonable. That's what I was doing in my post as far as I can see.
