I received the email with the code for Splatoon 2 Exclusive Gear. I redeemed that code on my Nintendo Switch's eshop using the same Nintendo Account registered on the Nintendo Switch Online (with country set to Brazil), I downloaded the content with my Splatoon 2 european game card inserted the whole process. But the content showed up in my main menu as a second "Splatoon 2" icon with a little cloud symbol on the top left, before the title, and there is no DLC on my save data when I start the game.
Every time I try to enter this second "Splatoon 2" icon, it says that I need to download the game from eshop, even though I already have the physical copy.
I read the support page about Splatoon 2 DLC problems, saying that the game card and downloaded content need to be for the same region, but I received a code for "North America and Latin America", it doesn't work with my European game... In the end of the page it says that I can contact Nintendo for additional support, but they didn't help. I just want to know if there is a way to make it work, because this is very important to me, this is the most exciting thing about Nintendo Switch Online membership for me, I was waiting to get this exclusive gear...
