You apparently didn't bother to read hexkyz's Tweet before you embarrassed yourself by making this pointless and factually inaccurate thread.
I updated the thread with an edit. Just because I slipped up on one point that doesn't mean the entire thread is completely irrelevant and pointless.

So... how hard is it for someone to, say, take what TX did for the USB support and do it themselves?

Considering that SX OS is closed source...pretty hard. Not impossible by any means but to do it the EXACT same way without having access to the actual code would be a challenge

Basically hexkyz explained how TX did it (in broad terms), I mean, there's plenty of skilled people in the open scene, I don't see why they couldn't code it...?

I updated the thread with an edit.
A lot of people won't read to the end.
Many will probably look at the latest versions in the post and look at the "new complaints", since they already "know" the same old arguments with the previous versions, and debunk the new arguments for the newest version(s).

I suggest using this forum code on the debunked part:
Code:
[s]put stuff here[/s]*
Which will end up looking like: put stuff here*

If you don't want the same arguments over and over again.
Then maybe also put an asterisk like I did above.

* Update: then your update also with an asterisk here at the end.

hexkyz did a broad explanation, they didn't go into any details. And for something like that to be made, details are important. Like i said it wouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE, just hard

Read the post lmao :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Yeah, right. First it was "SX OS uses stolen code" even though SX OS actually performed better than anything "homebrew" had to offer. Now with 2.0 and 2.1 confirmed to be using totally custom code the best the homebrew folks can come up with is "we were thinking of doing that too." I suppose now TX is stealing their thoughts. How about less complaining and more actual work? If "homebrew" solutions were actually competitive with SX OS nobody would buy it. This isn't rocket science.

Except they are competitive. People bought SX OS because it was the first to surface. People still buy it now because of the CONVENIENCE since the scene has a lot of noobs and the dongle and jig that the SX PRO bundle offers is convenient. SX OS has 1, maybe 2 features that the free solutions don't have and even out of those 2 only one of them is of any actual use(That being the usb loading). Basically it all comes down to how much time you want to invest on hacking your Switch

Funny you say that actually. Considering SX OS has been trying to destroy the homebrew scene for a while. Is that why they aren't competitive? I think they still are. As SX OS still doesn't have features that homebrew does. Some basic features (like kip loading) still doesn't exist on SX OS.

You all know you don't have to use SX OS, right? Why all the butthurt?
Because your ass decided to come into the thread. Like I said a million times at this point you don't like it. Leave and have a good day.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But you probably won't because as TX's PR you need to get as much sales and attention as possible.

@Essasetic Do you have a response to my post here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-tx-...sx-os-strikes-back.520985/page-3#post-8336930

You say this thread isn't pointless but I don't see how this updated version of your old thread adds anything new. Also how can you say "emuNAND aka instant ban simulator" for 2.0, has anyone actually been banned for that? Seems like speculation and it absolutely is not an instant ban. Don't know why people have to make everything so dramatic and over-exaggerated, is it really that much harder to say "emuNAND implementation could potentially be detected in telemetry and result in a ban".

You started the thread. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but the way forums work is that people start threads and other people reply. This isn't a personal blog.

TX doesn't need me to get sales. And you are giving them more attention than I ever could with your incessant whining and complaining. If you want a good cheat engine and hard drive support why not post a thread demanding it from the homebrew developers instead of getting emo about SX OS having it?

I know this isn't a personal blog. But shitheads like you were the reason why the last thread got shutdown. And there is already a good cheat engine out there and hard drive support is probably on it's why. Also if TX doesn't need PR to encourage people to get sales. Then I question why you have the job?

Shitheads like me who point out the fact that you're a whining troll who intentionally posts "alternative facts" to support your butthurt over SX OS? :toot:

I don't have a job. I do this for free. I'm the homebrew of PR.
