Are you sure about that or are you just generalizing a paid product? XCI support was the only original paywall feature. NSP's not really that wasn't even a thing when the sxos was released stolen yes we known this for a couple of months now.
The NSP installer was hidden behind a paywall as it exists in the same menu where the XCIS are. In fact everything that doesn't include homebrew is probably hidden behind a paywall.

then why tinfoil let his projects/homebrews open source, so TX could steal it easily? why wouldn't he just make his hb ''close''??
because it's meant to be used and improved and checked and rechecked for grave errors, brick code, cert stealers etc.
but not for commercial gain.

It's a valid option for homebrew authors.
ChoiDujourNX is closed source, which is why you don't have a "firmware installer/upgrader" built into SX OS.
Normally a project is open source so the community can help out with it's development. Unfortunately scummy fuckers (like TX) take advantage of it and use it to steal things without giving proper credit/any credit at all.

It is for sure, but most die hard hackers prefer full coldboot support. Which is probably our next high demand among an update since AutoRCM is just troublesome

I actually ordered a dongle myself since i'm on OFW 5.1 and according to what everyone says it's highly unlikely that a coldboot solution will surface for that OFW so. Dongle was pretty cheap(8 Euro with free shipping)

Imagine being so pathetic that you dedicate an entire thread to shit on TX because you haven't achieved anything else in life.

LOL! SXOS is designed to be user friendly. There's literally no need for a "firmware installer/upgrader". You should be installing updates from OFW if you want to avoid being banned.

Free open source CFW (ReiNX, RajNX, Atmosphere) > Paid CFW (SxOs)
This will never change.
It was always like this.
It's more transparent and everyone with enough knowledge improve them with custom stuff.

it's like how linux is > MacOS or Windows?

it all depends on the technical level of the user as to which is ''better''. The paid alternatives are generally less stuffing around that the freeware options.. so it is the end user's choice as to which they use (but I acknowledge the sometimes the cost of the commercial software comes into it and poor people cannot afford it, even if it is easier to use).
