Sometimes, I have my DS on a car ride or something, and there are a lot of people around, but only one DS. It feels sort of mean to just pull out my DS and leave everyone else being bored, so... what good games are there that can be played 'hot seat', passing the DS from person to person between turns? Emulated games are also good.

I know Worms 2, of course. And as I recall, Advance Wars DS has a two-player hotseat mode.

And one emulated game I've been playing a lot with my friends is 100 World Story - Tales on a Watery Wilderness. It's an odd Japanese game for the NES that's sort of a cross between a randomly-generated RPG (with randomly-generated plots!) and a board game. You can go around hunting monsters to try and collect treasures and rescue princesses, or you can attack your friends, or use spells to attack them for you. You can get a translation patch that translates it to English here.

Anyone have anything else?

You let others play your DS Lite?

I've been so protective of my DS Lite, since the last 3 ones have broken on me

Make sure to pick up a Nerf case!

Oh, and the WarioWare Touch game has a Pong hotseat game...but it gets old very soon...

Hmmm....Usually, when I'm playing single cart games, the best in my opinion are:

Bleach DS 2 - It's in japanese, but it's a fighting game, so there isn't much to get. Aside from the HUEG LIEK XBOX loading bar that your friends have to go through, it's a decent fighting game, they can pick ANY character (unlike JUS), and it has pretty good gameplay.

Clubhouse Games - Tons of classic games to play, pretty fast loading. Not much else to say.

No, it doesn't.
Tht wouldn't work anyways.

And Advance Wars is the best hotseat game, although i wish the turns would take less time later in the game, when they start taking like 10 minutes.

On the 3DS, Let's Golf 3D is a totally underrated golf game with full hotseat / pass n play support. I highly recommend it.
