I hate when translators leave their fans hanging, so here's a brief update on DQM23DS...

It's all nearly translated. No testing has happened, and we haven't gone any further with it because I ran into a major issue.
I could not get more than 40 characters or so to display in a window at any given time (for dialog). Never figured out how to resolve that, and then
life happened. Perhaps if the right person came along who knew how to help (assembly hacker, and knowledge of 3ds code.bin files) we could figure this out!

However, I personally ran out of free time to dedicate to figuring out this problem for the time being (sadly). I'd love to pick it back up right now, but
I just can't. Eventually (if we get no help on this issue), I hope to figure it out.

There is one guy on Kuriimu discord with knowledge to modify this file. I think it is Dr. Neobeo. You can ask them

@Helmax

Ah, sorry to hear that your team ran into such a road block towards the end of the translation

Hopefully someone with the skills and free time will come along to help the team clear this hurtle.

With how Nintendo is handling online...we may never get a chance to check out this game's online.

Anyhow, wishes you the best in your future endeavors

I know some people, that's why I offered. I'm part of a group of people who wants to make fan-translations possible for basically any system that uses a file system of some sort. @Helmax have you heard of Kuriimu? I'd recommend using that toolset.

I've heard of it. These project all existed well before kurimuu. No idea how you think that would help this particular problem. It's a string cap/buffer limit I just can't locate

Glad to hear this is still being worked on despite real life getting in the way. Can't wait for the release. This and Joker 3 Pro are my most anticipated games. Oh by the way, will I be able to transfer the monsters I raised in Terry's Wonderland to this game?

I wonder if you could speak to the Terrys Wonderland translators or some others. Maybe make a topic telling about your problem and seeing if anyone would be willing to help?

Good afternoon I'm looking forward to know how you carry the translation, I'm Spanish, but I would not mind playing it in English, so I learn it better. I hope you do not give up with this great effort, thank you very much from my heart. MANY people have a tremendous desire for this great game and it is too unfair that they can only enjoy it in Japan. I hope news soon, a big hug from Spain. José
