I actually solved the issue just by using the latest nightly of ReiNX. Works like a charm with no issues at all. I did everything they mentioned on Hekate but it wouldn't work no matter what. For now get the latest ReiNX

Is it the nightly from renix.guide? 9-27-18? I tried the latest stable before posting which was from the same night.

Then I tried the latest nightly. Same issue. Did you reinstall the game to get it to work or did it work once you got the nightly? Did you ever get the corrupted saves error after trying to start a second time before the fix?

Sorry for the questions. Just trying to figure this out. Tried it with other games and got the same thing, so it's not the dump.

Sorry for the late reply. I hope you fixed it by now, but I'll still explain what happened.
Whenever I tried to install VC4 on Hekate it would give me an error and require me to check for the corrupted files. It runs the check and quiet literally deletes the whole content of the game, forcing me to redownload it (which obviosly I am not going to).
So then I got the latest nightly from the reinx website and loaded it on my console. I did a copmplete removal of the title, lauched ZeroTwoXCI, and attepted to install the trimmed version of XCI. It took significantly longer than when I tried to install it on Hekate, but I don't know if that has any value right now. Anyways it successfully installed after about 15 min and then I ran it. The game launched without any error whatsoever. Saved the game, closed it and re-launched it. It loaded the game, no error. I rebooted my console to test it out and it worked. Only thing is that now I have to use ReiNX instaed of Hekate, but not a problem for me as long as it runs the game perfectly.

I got that same error when trying to install trimmed BOTW, Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and Cave Story+. As well as untrimmed Cave Story+. (On fw 3.0.2 w/ReiNX)
One user earlier in this thread recommended converting to NSP with 4NXCI and then installing with regular tinfoil. That's worked for me so far.
(I know this isn't technically a "solution" to the issue, but it's something to get around the problem while it's looked into)

4NXCI works for both trimmed and untrimmed XCIs.
It should work fine. ("Should" be the optimal scenario)

Got a couple of questions about this homebrew.
1. How long does it usually take to install a title?
2. Is there any confirmation when title is finished installing? Asking because this is the first time using zerotwoxci.
I have been trying to install a small title and has been stuck at finished transferring for about 45 min. Is there a way to exit program manually. running reiNX 1.7

Hi,

I installed ZerotwoXCI this morning everything seems to install but I am not seeing the game appear on my switch home screen. Where is the game? I tried installing on SD and NAND.

Can someone please help me. i need the latest version of zerotwoxci.nro which is 0.1.1
for the life of me i can only find version 0.1.0 but i need the latest ver (0.1.1)

even the file attached to this post is 0.1.0
i thought the op said it was the new version (0.1.1) with the 4.0 game fix

i already did. and those files are bot the same. see for yourself. they're just named different. when i run them on my switch they both are the same version.

compare the hash of them. Just cause they say the same internally doesn't mean they are

ok, none the less. all the "0.1.1" seems to do differently is load the keys differently. i still get that error installing binding of isaac, mariokart, etc

usually zerotwo works great, i guess when i encounter the error i'll just have to 4nxci it. i like installing the games from an .nsp anyway. it's way faster since all the decrypting/patching is already done....rather than being done on the fly. thanks for the response.

What are the NCA files in the zerotwoxci/ncas folder for? Can we delete them?

I keep getting stuck at
"Finished transferring..."

It just hangs there indefinitely.
I've tried with Mario Kart 8, Megman Legacy X, Zelda BoTW.
Same issues regardless of NAND or SD attempt.

Quick update.
I was using firmware 4.1.0 when I was getting the above error.
I updated to 5.1.0 and the issue went away.

ZeroTwoXCI is still picky with some games however.
A solution to work around XCI files that fail to install is to use 4nXCI to convert them to NSP files on your PC, then install the NSP file using tinfoil.
