Thanks. Apparently when I select NSdebugger in the RCM menu, it would fail to launch the firmware, but selecting NSwitchDEbugger.KIP would work. What's the difference?
maybe you are missing some files
the files inside the ...debugger5.x folder goes to the root of your microsd
[NSDebugger]
Used for code search, registration
[NSDebugger_kip]
Rewrite code in real time
[NSDebugger_fs_mitm_kip]
Rewrite code in real time fs_mitm

It's weird. I downloaded everything and copied everything as instructed, so I don't know why NSDebugger wouldn't work but NSdebugger.kip does. But sometimes after successfully launching NSdebugger, when I go into a game the console would turn into a black screen while emitting a loud buzzing sound. Pretty scary lol. Can only shut down by holding down power button for 12 seconds.

I have no luck with it too, it always freezes during searching on 5.6 or 5.7
maybe give 5.8 a try?

try playing with byte size, what value and size did you search for?
4bytes value 9300 dec money on rpg game or 4bytes ticket on Pokemon Quest, both freezes during searching with disorted words

@Type_O_Dev , so far no freeze on 5.8 and able to found and edit the money amount on the rpg game

I just want to say I got this working with hekate sig patches. Although often when I do searches the console freezes up and sometimes it spits out garbled text. I'm looking for the reputation failure limit in octopath. I can't imagine it being more than a byte because you get max 5 tries before resetting.

I think I know why the searches crash the switch. I think it’s saving results to the sd card as it finds matches. I’m searching for the number 5 or one byte 0x05 through all the game memory and it is getting a few million hits. I tried to load octopath again and it said the files were corrupt on the sad card and I had to redownload.

Maybe I need a higher quality sd card?

How you got this working with hekate sig patches?

  1. Download https://github.com/tumGER/SDFilesSwitch
  2. Place it on the root of your SD
  3. Extract NSwitchDebugger_v0.5.8 Copy and overwrite all contents of the folder to the root of the SD card
  4. Open hekate_ipl.ini on sd card. Add this line under [NSDebugger] and [NSDebugger_kip] and [NSDebugger_fs_mitm_kip] sections: kip1patch=nosigchk
  5. Find a zip file called 1017 v3 (it was posted in another sigpatch thread you have to search for it) it has a 0100000000000033 folder under atmosphere titles which is a patched sig check service. Extract that to your SD card.
  6. Boot using hekate_fspatches_v1.bin payload.
  7. Run CFW NSDebugger_kip or NSDebugger_fs_mitm_kip if you want layeredfs.

The nsdebugger should be in the hbmenu.

holy shit the UI is super unfriendly.

but i have a problem, i managed to get it working but i added a few values that wasn't what i was looking for. these values freeze the switch and i have no clue how to delete/remove these cheats.

so how do i delete cheats addresses?
