Btw I'm waiting on the official release to revamp the OP of that thread.
Worthy thread, but it might be worth starting fresh so people can discuss the official builds and find info about them without 79 pages of backlog.

e: regarding nsp, the official builds use the same filename/path for the .nro as the retronx builds, so the previous nsp forwarder should work.

ee: wow, a karaoke player core. Life is now complete.

Just saw this, tossed you some cash!
You have been doing wonderful things for the Switch scene, and I truly appreciate all of your hard work!
Kinda light in the coffers currently, but I'll make sure to keep greasin' the wheel;)

Newsflash to the youtuber. You can rename files. leaving a .pbp to be named EBOOT.PBP is just - well youtuber level of almost competency.

Also - if you have taken the "tip" from a posting I made earlier, there was a part in there on how to deal with cue/bin assets with multiple .bin files - that you left out of your tutorial. If not, this is a friendly reminder, that there is a way to deal with those as well (psx2pbp only works with a single bin image per cd).

edit: Its discribed in here: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/to...n-and-then-pbp/?do=findComment&comment=277997

(Download chdman and follow the process described in this posting. Its a command line tool, but its also the fastest way to "convert" multiple bin images (of one physical cd - where f.e. there were separate data and sound tracks, so this is not directly related to multi disc games, but can be) into a single bin(/cue).)

Also grabman....if you are ever using Sega CD and TG-16 CD / PC Engine CD backups be sure to look into making those .CHD as well...it will save you some space in case you didn't know.

Drop chdman and a bat file inside your folder with the backup ^ of choice and run it:

Here is the contents of the bat file you need that will do the work for you:

for /r %%i in (*.cue, *.gdi) do chdman createcd -i "%%i" -o "%%~ni.chd"

Hope that may help you or even someone else!

Even with Threaded Video, PSX Emulation jumps between 60-80% fullspeed.
You'll just have to wait until someone takes that dynarec bounty. We're not getting fullspeed PS1/N64 games until that happens.
