Can I suggest something from a translator point of view for the 28 character limit? To have a decent translation to my original language most of times I need to adapt and translate using fewer words, not removing the context out of it, just using different and yet smaller words just to fit in and without losing the context, which means smaller texts with the exact same means. But even doing that may still not be enough, well, I'm just suggesting since I don't see anyone talk about it, since English tends to be a little too extended sometimes. And that may require much more time to work with this.
I know, that's why I said it would require more time and work, because you will have to manually check where you will need to reduce some characters and manually adapt it. Try it out, if the result is something good might be a good start to be thinked off.

If you are meaning someplace to upload the save file I would suggest mega or compress to a rarfile and upload to mediafire. I also know save files can be stored at gamefaqs as well.
Hi.. I've been constantly reading this thread since few days looking for any progress.. I really wanna help.. But i don't have literally any knowledge in this area. I searched for that save files which hm7 needed.. couldn't find any for it. Sorry. i wanted to help in some sort of way. I tried to search it in some Japanese websites as well. Nothing there as well.. I found this website which has save files for almost all other PSP games... couldnt find SDR2 in there

Unfortunately I don't speak japanese so I can't really help, but thank you so much for all of your work!!
I think danganronpa games are perfect for on my new phone, with the large screen and all.

Not the translation itself, I need help with the location of menu strings. So far the game is pretty much translated and the first alpha version will go live for downloading after a few minutes.

I was trying to download it to check, but I'm having issues to download it.
Edit: After a few hours, it's finally finished the download, I just tested and so far had no issue with the PSP, no black screen, it's in English, I'll be providing some screenshots as I'll be playing and also the save I'll use, I'll keep multiples saves so you, me or anyone can test it at those parts to see if there is any issue, just be patient as I'm also working on my PSP DLC thread and also I'll be playing when I'm free.

So far so good, I had no issue, no audio issue, no gameplay issue, no save issue, still no black screen after the psp turn off ingame.
There are some things I noted that misses translations: the button icon or whatever it shows (screenshot), here it does not have one, but I noticed the for the Transcript it appeared as "Press Select to see it" also you should take that "tap the screen" off, it might confuses someone, to me I didn't notice at the first time.
The translation for what's being talked about and object, in case the palmtree (or whatever this tree are) and the ocean are in japanese yet.
Are you planning on inserting the english here and on the others and also in some cutscene?
The Transcript is a mess, it needs to be fixed.
Also the menus, everything in there is in japanese but you already know that.
Lastly, I'll give two save files, the first is the one when the game prompt it asking if you want to save, the other is when you're free, I didn't exit the first area yet, I'll be playing later again, it's just it for now.
