I made a video

These videos actually help.

Can you try by connecting the sd card to your mac?
Or is that the only possible way to add files to your sd?

It seems like a corruption. If a payload is corrupted it halts the cpu and stays on a black screen forever.

What filesystem you use for your sd card btw?

When copying update.bin the same thing happens when you connect to the imac. I used ftp for clarity. The card is in exfat format. Tomorrow I will try another sd and fat32. I do not rule out problems with sd, although at autoboot through a third-party payload everything works well. After checking I will write here the result.

Hey all. Well, I got a question.

I'm still not banned. I did a full backup (5.1) about two months ago with Hekate. Still on fw 5.1 but, up until fw 6.0 came out, I was going to the eshop and playing online with legit games. All cfw was offline (hekate ans SX). My question is, can I restore that old backup without N knowing I went "back in time" in some way? I mean, would they be able to see that I entered the eshop "X" number of times? Or is it good to go?

And lastly, I can't use xor.play.kip with hekate, why? I already did the steps on rajNX and it worked but here, nothing

Thank you for your amazing work.

So, today I bought a new SD card (exfat), and also checked for a small SD in fat32 - update.bin works fine.
You were right, my card is corrupt. Although it works fine in the console. Sorry to bother you.
I still have one question off topic: how do I fix it correctly? And is that even possible? Can be formatted at a low level?
Thank you!

If the corruption is on fs level, windows can normally fix it with a repair.
If not a simple format is ok.

If the problem is on bad sectors level, it will need a low level format with windows formatter, so it can mark the bad sectors.

Dunno if any advanced tools for mac though. You can use bootcamp if you like.

I'm having an issue with 4.2, getting the Failed to Mount SD card (fatfs error 13).

128GB exfat, 32K cluster size, error check finds no issues in windows. Works fine in switch as well.

Can you press the place where the sd card reader connector is and try to launch sth while pressing it?
It's marked here:

32K cluster size on exfat is not supported. Format the SD card to default allocation size and it will work.

Hi guys. :)
I need some help with hekate_ipl.ini setup.
I had a fully working exFAT sd setup with ReiNX.
Im using R4S dongle with advanced fw.
Hekate CTCaer 4.2 booting up normal, then I must manualy launch ReiNX from Hekate.
Please help setup autoboot chainloading. I tried many .ini config, but still I got black screen after Hekates bootlogo.
If I manualy start, its working just fine.
My actual .ini looks like this, referred to the template:

[config]
autoboot=1
bootwait=3
customlogo=1
verification=2

[ReiNX Full]
kip1=ReiNX/sysmodules/loader.kip
kip1=ReiNX/sysmodules/sm.kip
kip1=ReiNX/sysmodules/fs_mitm.kip
kip1=ReiNX/sysmodules/pm.kip

ReiNX.bin is located in Hekates bootloader/payloads folder. My .ini file is located in bootloader/ini folder.
The autoboot config "ReiNX Full" is enabled in Hekate.

Thanks in advance!

I think this would work:
[ReiNX Full]
payload=bootloader/payloads/ReiNX.bin

I wanted to do that after the appearance customlogo appeared menu Hekate for further action.
I created an ini file with a download of Hekate and put autoboot. But in this case customlogo goes into recursive loading until I press the vol button.
Is it possible to fix it with some configurations?

@Skonikol ..............There is a util that I have been using forever called the Panasonic SD CArd formatter. Its a PC or Mac util that formats SD cards and can do what is considered a lower level format and bad sector lock. Here is the link for the Mac version https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/eula_mac/

Might help you recover that bad card.
