I love the attitude to a simple question. Where do gamecube iso's get stored then? (is it on the sd card umm NO) The isos are converted to NFS (I'm guessing that is a Nintendo proprietary File System) and installed on either the WiiU Nand or USB. Nothing needs to be reprogrammed for me or anyone the apps are already working fine with internally installed games in nfs format (Nintendont proves that). All I asked is how to convert a wii iso to nfs. This inject tool does just that. Maybe read some more before dishing out negativity.
Dude I wasn't being negative, I just simply replied to your first rant. You seem like you read a lot about it but parts of it all aren't soaking in

I have read a lot about it and I know exactly how the WiiU VC inject is working because I have dumped my injects to find out how they worked. In the case of nintendont a forwarder dol is injected with the gamecube iso(s) while the actual program resides on the SD card. The injected stuff is converted to the NFS file system which could be in multiple parts depending on the size of the inject. The question I asked was how to convert a Wii iso to NFS because this inject tool is not the actual converter it's merely a script or GUI that issues commands to some other util to make the conversion. I thought since the creator of this script/frontend obviously knows how to convert to NFS this would be a good place to ask since he does not accept PM's.

Apologies for tone. I have asked the same question previously and had no reply. It's annoying because I know that in theory all we need to do to have complete romsets installed under one WiiU channel is to convert a ROM compilation and emulator into NFS and wup then install.

No problem :)
There once was a man who injected some arcade roms using a modified retroarch I believe to autoload a single rom in an installable wup:

.. so maybe someone will suffer the task of making this happen some day but as of now I don't know of a way to load into an emulator with a full set of roms. It hurts my brain just thinking about what's involved

Fair do's mate that's funny. There once was a man who was trapped in a box until he learned to think outside the box by pissing on the side until it got soft enough to break free. I get your humour now. Fair play.

Haha

I'm just off to get the drinks in its Friday night where I am and as much as I would love an immediate solution to my conundrum at this point the feedback from you is funny as.

This is awesome!! I was considering to install nintendont, because I'd rather use the GamePad to play the games and I know that has support for it. I was just wondering, is there support for us to use the GamePad for this as well?

I believe all Gamecube games work with the gamepad. Wii games are very hit or miss.

In case you haven't already found your answer, you need a tool called nfs2iso2nfs by sabykos, this can convert both ways, link below.

https://github.com/sabykos/nfs2iso2nfs

UPDATE:
There is a thread about this tool on the forums HERE.

Hello guys,
I have tried to use the GUI tool 3.0.1 but with no success for both GC and WII games, each time I inject a game when it started a black screen with error code appear that force me to power off the console.
So I have decided to use the older version of the tool, I have used version 2.0 and 2.2.6
I tried to inject GC game (Paper Mario 2) and Wii game (Super Paper Mario)
The GC worked perfectly, the WII game worked good at first, I create a profile (in Super Paper Mario) and save it, when the game start the console freeze with black screen and annoying sound, it force me to unplug the power supply cable and power on the console again.
When I enter to the game again I found the saved profile and still not working if I start the game.
I have tried both version (2.0 and 2.2.6) with the same result.

I have tried to install the game in both NAND and USB with the same result, Also, tried with ISO image and WBFS, and tried with just SD inserted inside the console.

I am using Haxchi v2.5u2 .

Can someone help me please ???

First off, Super Paper Mario for the Wii already has an official eShop release and the ticket info has been dumped, so no need to inject this game, just use such apps like WiiU USB Helper (patched version) or uTikDownloadHelper, etc.. To grab the game.

Also, what region is your WiiU? When injecting Wii games, it's always best practice to inject the same region game as your WiiU console, fail to do so will result in booting to black screen or other issues. Also make sure you have a good dump of the game as well, the GameTDB site is a good reference to check the CRC or MD5 against your copy to make sure it's a good dump.
I can't comment on Super Paper Mario specifically but I do know with other games, injecting a difference region than your own may/will result in black screen or issues.

Thank you for the reply,
My WiiU region is USA, I didn't know that Super Paper Mario was already on WiiU VC, I will try to install it from WiiU USB Helper (patched version).
Do you know why the injector script version 2.2.6 worked for me, but the GUI version 3.0.1 dose't working at all ??

Not sure, it could be a number of reasons why it isn't working, I'm still using v2.2.6, I only used the GUI version a few times or when I need to. The author has abandoned this script so don't count on any new versions or updates, or even replies from him.

Is there a way to get into the Nintendont menu as you boot the game, or once you are in the game?
Or is it possible to change this option once everything is installed?
  • Disable Autoboot (Nintendont menu shows instead of autobooting game)

This is working great for me for Wii/GC titles however I'm now trying WiiWare and it says no title tmd! when booting game. Is there any different instructions for WiiWare games?

Edit: figured it out, I wasn't putting the correct titleid into Wiivc injector.

Is it normal for the left analogue stick to occasionally pull backwards with Classic Controller emulation mode using Wii games? Specifically Sonic Colours and Unleashed.

When creating injected Gamecube games, is it possible to disable the prompt for Gamepad/TV when starting the title, as you can only get past this screen with the WiiMote, and I'd like to be able to start the games with my Wii U Pro Controller?

I believe if you want to use Wii U Pro you have to play through vWii. (ie Nintendont directly, or USB Loader GX) I read they decided to just make Gamecube injects be for Wii U Pad only.
