It just annoys me that rather than contribute in any way certain users try to belittle people.

No stick in my butt pal, you form a small minority of the temp who are ignorant AF :)

sorry fo

r the noob question but could you tell what are ncp and xci?
Its the format of switch games.
XCI are cartridges dumps, NSP are eShop dumps. XCI can be run only by SX OS and they can run from sdcard without hassle.
NSP on the other hand must be installed on the console (or on the sdcard) but the procedure is as easy as drag and drop and press install.
I bought SX OS because i've read everywhere that XCI are safer than NSP and, while its true, safer doesnt mean you wont get banned.
In the end im using NSPs, not only cause its better to have the game on the console itself, but because if you never go online, you dont have to care about getting banned.

Hi
As the title said am willing to have one i could get one with 4.0.1fw if i remember correctly , so i wanted to know is it hackable? Does the firware matter?
Also what is the difference between sxpro and r4s that r4s is far cheaper
What is important for me is to play games and if there are cheats i'd love it
So what do you guys suggest?

I got into the scene as well just two weeks ago and all I really needed to do was to read the sticky threads about which serial number I need and what software to run.

What?!? You mean when you wanted to learn something new you didn't burden others to spoonfeed you info that is easily available and well organized elsewhere?? But how are you supposed to learn what the common terms mean and how current hacks are done, READ AND LEARN FOR MYSELF?? That's really rude and ignorant of you to even suggest, please allow me to belittle you more for not helping the curious learn for themselves...

R4S is just a payload deployer, "dongle" if you want.
The CFW you put on the switch determines what you can run.
And, i've recently seen in the homebrew section a tool that automatically convert XCIs to NSPs and installs them.
If you want to run XCI directly SX OS is the only option.

A lot of good people answering, belittleing, etc.
But no one actually answered the real question will r4s "dongle" run on a ipatched new ns or not?
I'm goona guess none of you possess one of does nor even tryed it yet...
As r4 mentions on their website all regions and any firmware without the hassle of modding nor voiding your warranty...
I'm gonna guess r4s works nearly the same was as xkit rcm loader?

So will it work or not?

PS.: not a hacker just another curious lazy ignorant asking a question...

It... won't. That "R4" is just another RCM payload loader. If the Switch is patched then it won't work.
