Hacking Megaman Powered UP DLC help?

hi all,
um how do you get the free dlc for Megaman Powered UP?

also can you do this through ps vita's adrenaline psp emu?
does the psp' emu on vita use WPA for internet or the new WPA2?

You have to get it from the website playstation store as the PSP one doesn't work anymore. The pspemu supports any connections that the Vita also supports. However, when looking at Mega Man Powered Up on the Playstation Store, I don't see any DLC other than avatars.

If I remember it right, DLC was in some kind of website rather than in PS Store (and that's just stupid). When you downloaded it in game, the game opened PSP's own web browser and site where you downloaded it. I actually tried to find the game's site to download those, but it was gone. But, I found one Megaman fansite recently that was hosting almost all DLC's for that game. Too bad I didn't put it to my bookmarks, but I'm pretty positive you can find those with a little Google search.

Go to the gamefaqs Powered up page. The saves section has the DLC. Put them in with the other save folders in your PSP

There is no dlc for the game. If you talking about special unlockables like using roll or her costumes, you have to start the game and go to the construction menu then online. There you can download levels but other unlockables like extra characters/costumes. Select Special when you get to the menu and select from the list of unlockable content you want. You can't do it on PPSSPP since it doesn't support connecting to such network. It's all free so once you do it, just back up the system data save which is separate from the actual game data save for the progress you made in your game.

um, yeah I should have written it as unlockables, not dlc since it is free.
oh well, anwys, so to get this free content,
I can use my vita through emu PSP (wpa2)?
or should I use my PSP and after get all the free stuff I just transfer the system data file to my emu psp on vita?

the wifi that ePSP emu uses on vita is the same as the vita's wifi (WPA2)?
or the old WPA that the PSP oddly uses which isn't supported much nowadays.

Yes, you just have to go to Network Settings (second from the top of the left-most column) and add the connection again iirc. Or maybe it carries over into PSPemu mode without having to manually re-add it, I don't remember.

nice, I'll give it a try and see what happens. if it doesn't work I can always use my psp to get the stuff.

Not entirely sure about the wifi password protected encryption you have. All I know is that if you have a psp or vita (including adrenaline) you can access the unlockable content as long as you managed to connect to online. After you do so, it's as simple as going to the "download content" in the menu and selecting the special content and making it unlockable.

Anyway I assume it's the WPA which is the most modern one most routers have. It should work I guess. I assume that's the case for psp games downloaded from playstation store, it would work as well as long as your vita settings can connect to wifi.

The unlocked content is saved on a system file which is different than the game progress file, same goes for any stages you choose to download stages other players uploaded. (AKA Super Mario maker but with mega man) As long as you preserve the system data, you can copy it to any system that can play the game to access the content. Though it doesn't unlock all unlockables, just stuff that's not already possible in the game. The other 8 robot masters you unlock as well as those stage builder assets you have to do yourself by playing the game. There isn't much on the server besides some extra costumes for roll and I think the Charge/Slide mega man upgrades.
