Team Rebug starts pre-orders for their SwitchMe internal modchip

NEWS UPDATE: July 22th - Team REBUG has started pre-orders for their Switch Dev Board! :)
final-render.jpg

Team REBUG has put on the final touches to their 'SwitchME' dev board for the Nintendo Switch console, they have added some 'breakout' solder pads for future expansion and other usages, but it still only needs 4 wires for normal installs on your Switch, and it allows full usage of all the various payloads from ReiNX to Atmosphere to SX OS. :)

Pricing Tiers:
  • 1 – $7.49
  • 2-9 – $7.29
  • 10-19 – $7.00
  • 20-49 – $6.79
  • 50+ – $6.00
Nintendo Switch Dev Board
  • Internal board to launch RCM payloads.
  • Cortex m0+ dev board
  • This is a pre-order, expect delivery in the very near future.
  • Board Dimensions 0.59 x 1.05 inch
You can use this to launch Custom Firmware’s for the Nintendo Switch.
  • Auto RCM Strapping – 5-6 wire install
  • Software Auto RCM – 4 wire install
  • Normal Mode – 4 wire install
  • Auto Payload injection after reboot – 5-6 wire install
If no Auto RCM strapping used you will either need to use a jig or solder pin 1-10 on the right joycon. We will have detailed write-ups soon under the Nintendo Switch section of the site. You can also use this as standalone development board (Like the Trinket m0)
The project is basically finished now, they have moved into the 'pre-order' phase with amazing affordable pricing starting at only $7.49 each, so check it out now:

Does anybody know of a Japan-based modding service for these? I'd love to get one so I don't have to use a dongle anymore but have terrible soldering skills.

Can we get a fucking layout or proper documentation for those of us who bought it?

Where do I solder the points? I shouldn't have to check other people's docs to figure it out?

This has been asked about way too much on Twitter as well. They said last week this info would be added to the GitHub, and it has not.

Busy shipping over 3000 orders...
I'm sure you can wait a day or 2 before you get yours.
Expect the docs up by tomorrow.
And yes you can just go check other peoples docs seeing its the SAME soldering points :P

No worries. I followed the board traces. Obviously didn`t have a device here to test.

If there are any errors let me know. Looks right to me though :)

With auto-rcm enabled what keeps the console from rebooting once powered off? Powering the console off with auto-rcm I thought eventually put it into RCM mode.

Only if you don't have something to finish the "mini-boot" off...

If you have no payload sender or no modchip then yes it will put you in RCM.

If you are using SX os with internal chip, it will shut down correctly.

If using Hekate4 with internal chip, if you don't have an autoboot option enabled, it will kick you back to Hekate4 menu.

If you have your payload pushing device plugged in on shutdown, wait 12 seconds, then unplug, your console will be off.

I said this so many times I'm sounding like a broken record
