Hello. When I tell the launcher to start DSiMenu++, I get a white screen. I've redownloaded the files and checked I've put them in the right spots (_nds, cia, and boot.nds in root), updated Luma and to B9S, and I've enabled game patching, but I'm still stuck. Any help is appreciated!

thank you very much for this wonderful app! pretty much every DS game I've played using this on my 3DS running off an SD card works almost flawlessly! even some of the more obscure games I didn't expect to run very well, or even at all, run great! but there is one game that gets stuck on a white screen for me, called Ore ga Omae o Mamoru. now, I understand some games that do this simply aren't supported just yet, but I've also read that some games will do this as a sort of anti-piracy measure, and require a patch to bypass. was just wondering if you (or anyone else) maybe knew whether or not this is the case for this game, or if the game actually just isn't supported yet?

if it is caused by anti-piracy, I'd really appreciate a link to a patch if one exists at all. thank you!

Look for a thread named "AP-patch preservation" (sorry, can't post urls yet)
check there first to see if a patch exists.

Starting DSiMenu++ with DSTT in my 3DS only causes it to stay on a white screen after the bootsplash. If I remove the cart DSiMenu++ finishes the boot and as normal.
I am testing this with the latest nightly of Luma3DS and the latest version of DSiMenu++ with a DSTT and a 32GB microSD card.
It's worth noting that switching between SD and flashcarts does not work this any of the R4i-SDHC nor it's clones, Supercard DSOnei, DSTWO, R4i Gold Plus, nor the Ak2i
If you need someone to test out flashcart compatibility, I do have an entire collection of carts that I can test on.

If I click "Settings", it just reboots DSiMenu++.

That was preciselly the issue I was having. Make a blank "settings.ini" file and put it in the sd:/_nds/dsimenuplusplus/ folder.

You can go into the folder, right click on any empty space on the explorer window, select New > Text document. Name it as "settings", then select the file, press F2 on your keyboard and change the extension from txt to ini.

Extensions are hidden by default in Windows, it that's your case you can look for guides on how to make Windows show them.

You should now be able to enter the settings menu.

Thanks, it worked!
I was also wondering if there is a setting that can auto-boot to a folder,
I just want DSiMenu++ to start in the roms folder.

I looked through the settings.ini file, there is the ROMs path which is where ++ boots to, maybe you can alter that setting and test? It's on the first lines of the file IIRC

(I don't have my DSi on hand at the moment)

EDIT: sorry, I didn't read your full post. After fixing the Settings screen issue it booted right into the NDS roms folder :D You should boot into that folder too the next time you run ++

alternatively you could manually input the folder path in the settings.ini file

It seems like WarioWare D.I.Y. won't save your progress at all. It acts like it's fresh new copy, save file is 0KB. (and yeah, I've AP patched it).
Same goes with Kirby Canvas Curse - but with that game it also shows 99/99/99 99:99 on File Select Screen.

How I can play TWL card type games? For example, I want to play Pokémon Black/White, but the game freezes (white screen) after the intro sequence, and I tried using many AP patched roms, and I still don't get it about the TWL card type.
