I never had problems with my joycons, in any case this is how to fix most problems technology if something doesn't work

1. Plug Unplug
2. Calibration
3. Reboot
4. Outside cleaning (alcohol or toothbrush)
5. Inside careful cleaning

I have the right joycon with sync leds and sl/sr broken, the pad goes where it wants. Same the left but only the first and fourth led works. I also can unplug it without the button. These joycon comes from the italy nintendo assistance = 80€ :glare:
As extra i have also one switch speaker that does a terrible noise. :yay:
I've tried to clean and calibrate all but with no results
Sorry for my english

Switch has been out since 2017 so you are granted warranty, if you dropped you console destroying it I can't see how it can be Nintend's fault, anyway I'm from Italy too if you noticed

I sent the switch 3 times, the first was because appeard an orange screen and they changed the motherboard, after the switch was folded and they change it. After i had joy con issues and so i sent the switch other two times times. This is the second pair of joy con and the swith is new. It never fell or something like that, a day the speaker stops to work and the joy cons the same.
I bought the switch at day-one. I know that in italy the granted warranty is 1 year. If i'm wrong i'll send it again now

Connectivity is BS. Perhaps Nintendo believes it's OK I should be two steps away from the console for wireless to work reliably. If so, better drop the wireless façade and just connect the damn joycons to the console. With the joycons plugged in they worked flawlessly.

Warranty is 2 years, my switch is a day one too, I treat it carefully, maybe you are putting too much force, I suggest to pick a pro controller if you play docked, or a cheap controller if children are using it.

It's 2 years in all Europe regardless of what the seller says, but you invalidated warranty cracking, so your warranty isn't valid anymore, maybe you can send only joycons, if you get problems maybe they are related to the fact that you cracked the console and not an hardware fault

Yep, in the last couple of days my left joy-con has started to ignore directional inputs and/or ghost.!

Looks like it’s going to be similar to the persistent problem the VITA analogue sticks faced; the only solution there was to tear-down & replace the part..

I have never had problems of sincronization, but the joycons that came with the console lasted at least, 4 months, before the left stick started like crazy. I used the warranty, and all was good but after some other months its starting to do it slightly. Maybe it will last a couple weeks before going nuts again. I must say I have been a Nintendo fan since the NES, and yes, I love this joycons, and their functions, they are good (maybe a bit small and expensive) but they feel very fragile. I am a careful gamer, still got my N64 for example, and the sticks are sturdy and not a single error in the inputs, and the are with me since 1997. So, yeah, maybe here they dropped the ball on durability.

What do you mean by "started like crazy". That actually sounds like a synchronization problem.

Wireless issues not registering correctly and/or on time. Right joystick is beginning to act like a 10 year old worn out ps3 controller. It sucks and upsetting that the quality is shit because it cost me $379 but I get Wal-Mart discount so I saved around $30. As a dad, I can't shell out $80 every so often.

Yeah well, the left stick started to drift to the right on neutral position. Tried resincronization, recalibration, but it was "alive" and always to the right. Annoying as hell.
Well. That's not a sync problem for sure. Those are more like the stick reading getting stuck.

I have a switch quite new, bought around 1 month ago

After 2 weeks started to give me strange problems. The right JC is really having problems:

1- I press B and it doesn’t do anything for a while. Then restarts working. Suddenly the problem appears again
2- dame issue with X and Y. But not all together. Maybe X is not working and Y does.
3- disconnection: sometimes I cannot move anything, I look down and the lights are blinking. It is going to reconnect by itself

MARIO Odyssey or similar games are a problem. I die in stupid way falling down even if I press to Jump

Grrr

Suggestion?
I tried to sync, update joycon. My Switch is one month old, in case I go where I bought it and ask for a replacement

Don't go to the place you bought it. Call up Nintendo Support and get them repaired under warranty (for free). Those problems should definitley be covered, unless you have been dropping your Switch from like thousands of feet.
