(Edit: Latest SX OS thread seems to have fixed this problem, making this thread now pointless. Any mod reading this, please feel free to delete the thread)

Every time Team SX have an update (like the recent 1.7 update), a solid 3/4 of the thread is filled with either people making the same, tired complaints about stolen code etc, or people defending team SX who simply don't care.

Nobody changes anyone's mind and the handful of people who just want to know information on these updates without drama, including any potential issues (especially relevant to the recent SX OS update and HOS 6.0), have to wade through 4/5 pages to get to one or 2 useful posts.

This happens each and every time and the mods do little to nothing, yet nobody benefits from it either.

How about, a thread is set aside for people to have their arguments about the ethics of SX OS, and the mods remove any pointless/unrelated posts from the major announcement threads. I'm not trying to take away any free speech here or anything, I literally just want to be able to use the specific, official announcement threads for their intended purposes and not have to wade through literally 4/5 pages at a time to get to useful, on-topic posts.

It's clearly a recurring a problem, so can the mods please do something about this?

It's not going to stop, even if people have their own thread, because some people will view each new hacking related thread as a debate topic soapbox.

Offtopic replies get deleted as they come through. We can't control people, nor their penchant for bickering. The most than can be done, really, is to just report the comment and move on.

Complaining isn't against the rules, neither is defending. Mini modding however is against the rules.

Let's not mention the irony of making an entire topic to complain about people complaining in another thread shall we.

The mods monitor all posts, anything against the rules is dealt with, if it's not removed then assume it's fine, if you suspect it's not fine REPORT IT. Don't try and tell the mods how to do their jobs, that usually doesn't end well.

My issue isn't with complaints, it's about the vast number of posts in said threads causing drama, not being dealt with. How about the irony of you complaining about my complaining about complaining, by replying to a post about complaining about complaining. We can do this forever. it's more efficient for me to make a single post/thread drawing attention to a problem, than dozens of replies

True, after someone stating the fact that (aka quoting from twitter of developers) TX stole code again, some people will come out and say 'how does it hurt you?' 'TX is still the best, so blow me?' 'at least it works so who cares stealing codes?'
Maybe mod just need to stop these salty guys after people bringing out the facts codes are again stolen.

Wah! Why won't the mods censor on-topic criticisms of my shitty "CFW" I paid money for and have to keep justifying!!

Very curious why SX OS updates get pushed directly to the front page, it just makes people think it's the only solution for running unsigned software on the Switch, when in reality much better solutions exist.

God this website has turned into a major shit hole. All any of you do is complain about who’s complaining. If tx hasn’t stole any code from you/your project, you have no reason to complain. Leave that to the devs they stole from. And for those who “must protect tx good name”, you won’t get anywhere with these people who hate tx. @Quantumcat you and all the othe mods need to start shutting down threads that get out of hand with the pages and pages of constant fighting about tx stealing code. Just a friendly suggestion
