Thank you so much for this!

Unfortunately, I'm having some issues. I'm not new to CFW on my 3DS, but I'm just having a hard time getting this working and was wondering if someone could help me.

Here is what I'm running:
N3DS with Luma3DS v9.1 running firmware Emu 11.8.0-41U (I also have patch games enabled on Luma config)

I copied over the "_nds" folder and the "BOOT.NDS" files to the root of my SD cards.
I installed ALL THREE .cia files via FBI, installing the Launcher cia last.
I checked both .ini to make sure CONSOLE=3

After installing and running, after tapping the screen at the white DS screen, I get "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button."

Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

follow the 3ds hacks guide https://3ds.hacks.guide if you haven't already done it. the issue is running off the emunand and not the sysnand

Install the CIAs to SysNAND as well.

@Robz8 I recently played a few DS titles on DSI Menu, it's nice but only i have observed the video quality is not one of the best? It will be improved in the future?
And for DS emulation like GB emulation you can't add a "Fast Forward" button/mode?

DS isn't emulated. It's ran natively.
Also, on 3DS, it's normal that the video quality looks that way, as that's how TWL_FIRM displays it. You can however, hold START or SELECT before the white screens (outside of DS boot screen) appear when starting DSiMenu++, to display the DS resolution natively.

So I'm having a heck of a time trying to get this installed and working on my n3DS...

I know nothing about homebrew or hacking, I just set this all up yesterday using the 3DS hacks guide. I just want to be able to launch NDS roms on my 3DS.

I follow the install guide listed here, but after installing the cia files they don't show up on my home screen. What am I doing wrong?

You installed the DSiMenu++ Launcher alongside the 2 DSiMenu++ CIAs, right?
If you did, try rebooting the console.

Nope, didn't realize that was a separate thing. Feeling pretty dumb now. lol

Also didn't have game patching enabled as I didn't know how to access Luma menu. Ended up figuring that out using the hacks guide.

All good now! Just played some DQV, which was all I really wanted.

Is there any way to get the game tile on the 3DS home screen without going through DSiMenu++?
