I'll use the link u provided to make backups first with the newest sd files and Hekate bin in there. After that I might just go thru the standard manual provided bij the dongle website as it seems easier (no need for installing Hulu and tinfoil afaik).

just recieved the RCM clip before the dongle
i wished i ordered more then 4.
oh well.
i am really surprised it took less then 2 weeks to arrives.

Yeah mine should take a bit longer to arrive then most people even if I ordered earlier. Takes usually a month to ship from China to Belgium

Hey so I received mine today and it doesn't work, it lightsw up, it will even boot the Switch to standard firmware when its in autoRCM mode, but my PC wont recognise it as a device, it lights up like it's charging but it doesnt make the noise to say a device is connected, the instructions say press reset twice to start it. That doesn't work. The alternative is to go into device manager and install the drivers that way, the PC doesn't find it as a device as I've said, so basically it's completely useless unless I want to start the standard firmware. Great.

That sucks. So you're using it with the micro usb cable and that programmer tool ? Did you also contact that guy who makes them ?

Maybe the usb cable is faulty. Try using another micro usb.

I havent contacted anybody yet, got another cool problem as well

The software you download, I changed the com port to one and pressed ok to see if it would work. It got a fatal error and then wouldnt start. No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall the program it will not start again, so thats fucked as well.
I was initally quite pleased with the build quality but the truth is, in my experience, it's a piece of shit.

I don't see anyone anywhere I can contact, they have a website with their program on but no contact

So no blinking purple lights ? It says you should first install the software then it should blink purple and when it does it shows up as an unknown device and you manually put the path of the driver to where you installed the programmer. If it does not then ask for a refund or replacement

Well the software won't load now no matteer what I do, even if I install it on a different hard drive. I guess you get what you pay for, hope other people have more luck

No blinking purple lights, it flahses purple for a second when you plug it in the switch though. I plug it in the PC and theres two blue lights, then it fully charges and the power light goes green, double pressing reset wasn't working soI went to the alternative method which is update it via device manager but it's not there, its not recognised at all by the pc

I'd like to get it to work, it boots the Switch into normal firmware as theres no payload on it, and it charges via USB so I'm hoping the driver can be located from somewhere and maybe that will fix it, but if it not even recognised as a device on the PC then I cant see it, then theres the issue of the program not booting.

Maybe the reset button is busted. Try to see if you can open it up and if the reset button is solderee properly. It seems you can only get it to be in usb mode by pushing that button 2 times so i'm guessing there might be something wrong with the reset button

You can get a refund even 15 days after your protection ended. You ask for a refund and apply some images if possible. I bought the $16 one in the other thread and it works like a charm!

I was thinking of ordering this one too, but I haven’t heard any reviews(just yours as of now). I’ll wait for some more reviews before buying. On a positive note, the $16 one is functioning well. I just hope you get refunded.

Yep, seems so, took the lid off and it was barely attached on one side, I pressed it down and it came off. fell apart, put a picture in r/switchhacks under
