Well. I meaning. Something that cant take down like Block Chain! I Saw something like this for a stream service. Maybe i just read it wrong!
Peer to peer pirated games already exist, they are called torrents.
Block chain would serve no useful purpose.
If a developer was so inclined they could possibly create a shop with a decentralized magnet list and torrent client. It will not happen though. Don't be lazy, just download your CIA files when you actually want a game.

You know, people... I actually hope that FreeShop can continue to enjoy cache updates for a while. Even if the downloads will be restricted, it would still be a pretty good way of reading about new titles on the eShop.

So with the freeshop gone, are we all depended on downloading and installing .cia-files? How about virtual console games, like the older Zelda-ones, are games like that available on a .cia-file?

Yup, what we have now is .cia files. I doubt any Zelda game can't be found easily because of its franchise, the more obscure games should be the most affected.

Since freeShop doesn't work. Is anyone going to fork the project to develop a BCSTM player as a Homebrew App for 3DS? Please? It would be really awesome to do it without having to be connected to the internet all the time~ ^^

Because there really isn't any standalone BCSTM player except for vgmstream-3DS, which hasn't been updated since four years ago and plays the sound files in extremely low quality.

Hi guys I am hoping someone can help me out. I just did the most recent software update for 3DS via luma and now when i go into freeshop, whenever i try to download a new game i get a stack dump error. I have updated freeshop from the QR code on this thread. Is there any way I can fix this?

Currently having issues installing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I haven't tried with any other games, but as soon as I press the download button, my entire 3DS crashes.

Freeshop no longer works. Nintendo patched it. And no, it cannot be fixed. Use CIA files instead.

Yeah, I tried installing by CIA with FBI, it isn't working at all. It says it's installed, but it doesn't even show up on my home screen or title list.
read the title of the thread......
I just noticed. Sorry.
