If you installed games without clean backup of the NAND, there's anything you can do. Don't go online ever so you won't get banned (but that's a autoban so...)

Well I can just say freeshop is an easy was to get banned in minutes. I updated all my Games while in CFW and nothing happened but using freeshop is where Nintendo clearly draws a line :)
(just fyi, I knew I was going to be banned but I didnt care wanted to see how fast it would happen)

Right now, just do not go online with any modifications (delete any internet settings), and restore a clean nand backup (no homebrew) if you wish to go online.

It does however look like Nintendo is gearing up for 6.0.0 in connection to Nintendo Online being released soon, and it looks like a lot more measures will be added, so enjoy semi safe homebrew now while you can.

just one thing
DON'T GO ONLINE...EVER
^^^^ This...

First time I launched RCM, blocked MAC on router. Backed up NAND, bricc'd. Booted up SXOS, haven't looked back.
I can always unban myself in the future.

In fact it would only take like an hour or two to switch back and forth between NANDs if I wanted to go back online, which I don't.

u can't. It's already in the logs. The only thing you could have done was making a clean backup of your nand before you starting installing games and so on and when going online restoring that Nand. That would be the best option but in the end you'll get banned because it's in the logs and deleting the logs also guarantees a ban. The only thing you can do is stay offline

To everyone saying that once he installed some games, there is no way to clean his nand: Can you make clean nand via ChoiDujour?
updating, or downgrading system files does not delete your user's profile/content/bought games/logs etc., using that program doesn't change this fact. it's only replacing files.

safest way is :
go offline, before making nand backup.
backup NAND, backup your SD card.
hack all you want still offline. Use choix du jour to update (and with autorcm, to prevent burning fuse or you can't restore older nand backups)
restore NAND when you want to go clean or online, AND format your SD card and restore the backup SD (restoring NAND but keeping your hacked SD is not safe). though, to go online you might need to update your firmware to latest based on which version you have/exists.

Can't you create clean nand using only prodinfo?
(that's what I meant).

No idea. I didn't follow Switch scene enough to know about that.
We can already create clean (functional, undetectable) NAND from scratch with tools?

When people used the "free SX OS payload" and bricked, everyone wanted to create fresh NAND. The only thing they needed was prodinfo, which was actually destroyed with that brick... That's why I think, that you can create totally clean new-like NAND using only prodinfo. But I never tested it nor asked anyone...

Going online at any point while in homebrew or CFW will result in a ban, we know that for sure. Going online in OFW after having used CFW/homebrew seems less likely to result in a ban, but still isn't safe. Your only option for online is to wait for stealth patches.
