So I did it all and hacked the switch, yay me... Used the latest build on discord of reinx. Now I use tinfoil to install a game I took from CDNSP and installation is successful but when I try to start teh game it tells mat I need to own and try to send me to the eshop.
Switchbru connects to its own server instead of Ninendo's so you get to enjoy non-Nintendo online services so...maybe? It blocks a lot of Nintendo's URLs, if not all of them, but I haven't heard of a ban for someone using it yet.
Game wasn't installed in CFW so its missing the ticket that the ES patches would have provided.

If I'm running an CFW and reset my console to factory (yes, I will lose all my saved/installed games, but that is not the point) and downloaded Fortnight, would I be able to play online? Or would Nintendo detect that I am using an CFW and ban me?
Might depend on if you ever connected to the internet with the CFW running, or installed autoRCM etc..
Safer would be to restore a clean nand backup if you have one?
Ok so everything is working fine now, paperclip into reinx payload into playing whatever I want. I'm about to travel a lot for work, if I want to play on teh plane and everything what are the best and safest way for me?

It will probably brick your console as each nand is encrypted with its own signature keys (not an expert, though).
Again, not 100% sure on this but since you're not connecting to Nintendo's servers, they don't know that you're online theoretically. However one misstep and you could connect the console online

Depends on how much cash you want to spend and what your needs are. If you want to actually charge the Switch while playing a USB-C PD, like the ones Anker has or the RavPower will work. When comparing keep in mind accessories included such as usb-C cable and a charger for the battery. They can also take a long time to charge back up if you do not have a quick charger for the battery. They are rather expensive and I have not purchased one becuase I always miss the sales.
I have had success traveling with just my standard 5v 15k mAh and 20K mAh USB-A powerbanks, but they will not really charge the Switch battery while playing, but pretty much just hold it steady while plugged in. This Kmashi 15k from Amazon has worked very well for us and is cheap at $18.

Edit: For all day road trips I have just brought the Nintendo dock power supplies and plugged those into a 500w inverter I keep in the car. (For the kids, I don’t play and drive. Lol.)
If you are flying check the restrictions on the size of battieries allowed. You might be better off with two smaller ones than a big one.

i'm debating between Fat32 or exFat. it seems like there are some homebrew which either don't support exFat, or have some problems with it. I'm curious if these are things that can/will be fixed in the future, or will it always be like this?
Expanding on last poster's question, is it every homebrew that has corruption issues with exFat or only RetroNX? Because I want to play me some emulators but I want to avoid corrupting the SD card.
One viable option is to set up a second SD card as FAT32 for emulators and such, probably can use a smaller one you already have.
Not sure what “ecer” booting is but the very first thing you should do after RCM and loading hekate is making a full backup.

Hi, I'm using a paperclip to get in rcm. Power + VolUp x 12 seconds and no logo or anything, but when I connect the switch to pc it turns on and instead of APX I get an unrecognized device

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
