This is because you're using a launch option that uses PreventGCUpdate. PreventGCUpdate turns your cartridge slot off so it isn't updated by a firmware, disallowing you to use it on older firmwares if you decide to downgrade in the future.

So, if you use a launch option that allows you to use it, keep in mind that you will break the cart slot for older firmwares the second you boot into the OS.

For future reference you need to hold the power button for 12+ seconds for it to fully shut down. Or use the shutdown option in the Boot Menu after injecting a payload.

Keeping the PreventGCUpdate patch ON, it will prevent your GCFirmware from updating. This also means your cart slot will be turned off while this patch is active--you cannot play cartridge games while it's enabled.

Turning the PreventGCUpdate patch OFF will update the cart slot if you're on a newer firmware; this means you can't use your GCart slot on older firmwares if/when you downgrade any longer, permanently.

If you want to turn it off, you need to do so from the Boot Menu's options ( --> Autoboot ) by holding ( Vol - ) when injecting your payload to boot your Switch in RCM. (Holding Vol - is only necessary if an autoboot option is in place.)

That's exactly how it is supposed to be, you update and want to retain the ability to play games on lower firmwares you have to use the nogc kip1patch, but by using that and not allowing your gamecart controller to be update, you can't play any games on higher firmwares.

(you retain the ability to play games on lower firmwares, but not on higher ones)

Like the most messages trying to explain NOGC you don't mention that it is pretty much useless if you are already 4.0.0+ as the gamecard controller is already updated.
It is ONLY needed if you're updating from <4.0.0 and want to remain the ability to use the gc slot after a possible downgrade to the earlier firmware.
Reading your post one might think that after updating from 4.0.0 to 4.x or 5.x it is needed to use nogc to be able to downgrade and have a working gc slot, but that's not how it is and irritates users whether they are affected.

You know, if this was a perfect world, we wouldn't have to keep explaining how something works...

Nevertheless the concept of "only needing it pre-4.0.0, upgrading to 4.0.0 or above" would probably fall on deaf ears. But I jest.

@rajkosto Sir, I found one bug, I don't know if this occur only with mode ftps or layres, but HBL menu brokes sometimes and restart my device when I use one especific method or when I open an official game from eshop. I will test now your cfw without any mods to see the results.

Same problem for me. I think it is a conflict with sys-ftpd. Is it possible to just fix ftpd.nro to work flawlessly? Everytime I transfer a big file I find the error screen

So if I use this cfw It'll be safe to use eshop and play games I own online because the error reports are not being send to nintendo? Also, If I already have error reports before using this cfw, will they be sent to nintendo or they'll be placed on the sd card when I boot with rajnx instead?

No, it's most certainly NOT safe to do that. Error reports are not the ONLY way that Nintendo checks for illegal content on one's system. Rule of thumb is if you run CFW/play backups then stay OFFLINE

As long as the sWitch is on,you can connect to it via a FTP client. All you have to do is see you Switch's IP address and connect to port 5000. And no, it doesn't decrease performance in games whatsoever, not that i noticed at least
