The thing is I thought I uninstalled A9LH a a while back with some script because cfw was being buggy so this was when I thought I would reinstall cfw. So maybe the software to install B9S thinks I am still running A9LH when I might not be. But I am not sure.

Nope. The B9S installer checks the state of your console and if there's an error, it displays it.
Trying to uninstall A9LH because your CFW being buggy was a mistake, because A9LH is a exploit, not a CFW. For that matter, the best way to check if you still have A9LH is to try and install Luma3DS v7.0, and if it loads Luma (you could go to the Luma Options when turning on and pressing Start at the same time), sure you got A9LH.

Thank you I will try it now.

So a quick update, I have tried using the guide you have all been sending me 'https://3ds.hacks.guide/a9lh-to-b9s' aaaaaaaand it dosen't work. I copy everything accross from everything I downloaded, then hold START whilst booting up and it takes me to the home screen not SafeB9SInstaller. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

I ran a uninstall script in an earlier version (11.6) because the cfw was really not working properly so I was going to reinstall it,
. . . i cant believe no one questioned what you meant . . . well?

. . . hold on at this point do you have cfw or not? . . . because if you ran a script to remove it then you are attempting to convert your nonexistent a9lh when you should be following the guide as if you have no cfw installed

Hello so I am trying to run this guide but when I get to 9:39 (booting in to b9s install) it tells me that a9lh was detected.
