looks like you are going to do it via CPU, post your movable_part1.sed and I'll do it via GPU it will be like 15x faster or more, but I will have to complete Rubeeen2912's first
Hi there, I've encountered the same issue as mailord, would it be possible for you to do me the same favor and bruteforce it via GPU?

My error is:

"Loading movable_part2.sed...
Error: could not open saves/save_C0000000-040000000.bin
Starting at msed3 offset 0

At msed2 address 0x0000000, size 0x040000000:
Brute forcing msed3 offset 0 (0x0042F5A4)..."

I'll attach my movable_part1.sed already.
If you or anyone else would be willing to help me out, that'd be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi, I have a old 2ds with firmware 11.8. I have a Dsiware injected in console (sudoku) ad I can launch boot9strap installation. For error I wrote the file 2.54-0_11.4_OLD.firm on my 2ds and now, I can't complete the configuration of luma. Luma configuration not boot (with hold Select or without hold Select). I check the attach section but both point no working for me.

Boot up your 3DS while holding (Select) to launch the Luma3DS configuration menu
  • If your 3DS boots normally to the HOME Menu then boot9strap did not install correctly. Boot b9sTool and make sure the FIRM STATUS says "STOCK". If it says FIRM STATUS: B9S, then select "Restore stock firmware". Then renameboot9strap/key.bin to danger_reset_backup (no file extension). Run b9sTool again, choose "Install boot9strap", and hopefully you will see luma3ds config on next reboot.
  • If the above fails and you have an old 3ds/2ds (i.e. NOT New 3ds/2ds), you may try to fix your firms with the 3ds's built-in recovery mode by doing this guide.
Then actually select update. The system should say "up to date" and then turn off. Rename boot9strap/key.bin to danger_reset_backup (no file extension). Run b9sTool again, choose "Install boot9strap".
My 2ds boot always normally.

What I can do?

I used the version which you linked me. I repeated the procedure:
  • Launch Dsiware ed enter in B9S installer
  • b9tool 4.0.2, For Firmware 11.8.0-X, FIRM STATUS STOCK, Install boot9strap. 30 Kbs written to FIRM0, Press Home to exit
  • Luma configuration not boot.
If I enter in the b9s installer I can see FIRM STATUS: B9S

try restore your FIRM0 in b9stool, reboot and try install b9s again

I think I have a wrong Firm0. Initially, I followed this guide and I wrote the file 2.54-0_11.4_OLD.firm, I don't have a backup of DUMP F0F1 and I think that the backup.bin have already the firm0 corrupt.

How I can restore FIRM0 without backup?

video guides will always fuck things up for you..............

turn your 3ds while holding A+R+L+Up(DPad) to enter recovery mode, try again to install b9s
if that doesnt work, last hope wioll be to buy a ntrboot flash card http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=575

Ok. If I will buy a ntrboot flash card, What I can do? There is a tutorial for repair the complete 3ds firmware?
Another question: Can I install b9s in FIRM1 and launch Luma from there?

FIRM1 only boots if FIRM0 fails, not sure if you can install it to it now,
for the ntrboot, you just follow http://3ds.hacks.guide and choose the ntrboot method, corrupted FIRM0 or not, it will work

Yes you could if a coder would modify b9stool to install to that partition. That coder will not be me though.

If you corrupt Firm1 as well as Firm0, then you are bricked.

How I can understand if I have a FIRM0 corrupt? The 2ds boot normally after all.

you wouldnt actually know if it's corrupted, because if it doesnt work, it jumps directly to FIRM1

but if you try the 3ds recovery mode, it may restart the FIRM0
hold A+R+L+Up(DPad) and turn on the 3ds

I have had some one who also corrupted his firm0
The trick is safe mode, it restores FIRM0

I already did it but it did not work. In fact, after I restored the firmware via safe mode, I followed the guide on 3ds.guide but Luma configuration don't start

or wait for the new exploit from Smea (11st August)?
Try this:

Go to system settings, other settings, page 4 or 5, system update. make sure to actually attempt to update with wifi on.
It should say "your system is up to date". Press ok and let the system fully reboot on its own.
Rename boot9strap/key.bin to danger_reset_backup (no file extension)
Run b9sTool again, choose "Install boot9strap", and hopefully you will see luma3ds config on next reboot.

For some reason, recovery mode safe firm wasn't fixing my intentionally corrupted firm0, but this instance of safe firm did. So give it a try.
