OK, so I found a work around. I started at the end of the list, and went through and added files manually, groups of letters at a time, like z-s, then s-f, etc. Then at the end, I did the A's, but left out the two that it quit on previously. Then at the end, did those two, and it now has 1092 files, although its missing some, but I haven't found which ones yet. I have 1,113 files which include games, updates, DLC, etc. so now I must find whats missing. On the XCI front, its found my 169 cartridge backups. One thing I noticed also, maybe you can come up with something, but of my eshop releases, all the DLC simply says [DLC][0] or another version like 65536, etc... anyway to have it show the game that it belongs to?

OK, doing some more testing for ya, in hopes it may help ya. This is weird. I tried again, leaving out the files it seemed to crash on, but that didn't work. It only works if I go backwards. With having over 1100 titles, I can't try every combination.. Sheesh....

- Lists position, sort order, size, Window Size and position, etc, are now saved when you exit the program.
- many bugs removed.
When I select add folder in eshop tab I just get "DONE". When I select file, navigate to folder, select all .nsp files it hangs for a few seconds (since its a lot of files), then all i get is "DONE".
The list remains empty after, so its not adding any files unfortunately.
This is madness

Testing some more it appears to have just been this weirdly named file. Others are adding fine...will let you know if there are any more hangups but this works GREAT! Sorry for not testing more before posting!

I think this is by design, duplicate files are not listed and only the first one found will be listed
however this means that if you have multiple NSP update files for different version, they won't be listed either. although this is necessary for those who is not on the latest FW to have multiple update NSPs to see which one can be used on their FW
I'm fixing the latter as we speak and will submit a PR to @GibaBR after I'm done with it
