Start Teconmoon's WiiVc Injector and make sure you select "GC Retail Injection" at the top. Then choose the .iso, icon and banner you'd like to use. Then select the Gamepad/Meta Options tab and type the "Name to use for Packaged Title" for the name you want displayed for the game. Now select the "Build Title" tab and click "BUILD" at the bottom. Let it finish and make sure you get a good confirmation when it's finished. Now take the folder it creates and copy it to your "Install" folder on your SD card and install it with WUPInstallerGX by launching HBL and WUPInstallerGX thru there. Also, make sure that the game is just a folder named whatever your game is with files inside and not a folder inside a folder. Let me know how you make out :)

You said one of your GameCube injects works fine already so I'm assuming you have your vWii hacked and have Nintendont installed to your SD card etc?
Thanks a million for this. I think I did all of that, but I will try again (takes a while for each game on my PC)

I did install Nintendont on my SD card, but I put it there via the Teconmoon program "Nintendont SD Card" button

Haven't tried that myself actually but if it works for one game it should work for the others

Quick question. For the Title ID, are there limitations to how I can customize it? I have a ton of the New Super Mario mods (like 30 - Love these!) and I just got a WiiU last week.

For the most part, I'm all set up, with the exception of these. When they autopop the Title ID, it's the same for most of them, as they were compiled against the same NSMB iso. I'd like to customize/randomize each of them to avoid any sort of install conflicts (and I'm only assuming they're will be a conflict, haven't validated that just yet).

Any recommendations?

Edit: Oh. One more question. Maybe I'm just not finding the setting, but is there a way to append the game title to the folder created on output without manually saving to a different folder with each run? All I'm seeing are title IDs and the first 4 digits of the 6digit ID, so I sometimes lose track of whether or not an iso's been injected already and have to load games and match IDs to find my place again. Probably too much multitasking on my part. lol

You definitely want to have different title ID numbers. They are randomly generated by game but like you said, having mods of the same .iso will yield the same title ID over and over which will cause conflicts. I would just change a couple of characters at the end of the title ID number to make them different and then use the search function on "that title ID site" to verify no other games use that same number first but there is no automatic way to do that that I know of. As for the folder generated name there is no option to change that until you finish creating your game. I personally just choose a new folder when it asks where to output the finished files and make it what my game is and then move the files out of the folder that's created inside my new folder.

Awesome. Thanks for responding and confirming I wasn't just overthinking it.

Do you know if a randomized Title ID attribute to any issues in relation to the WiiU being able to read it? I figure it's more of an association to track purchases and/or usage on Nintendo's end than anything else, so not anticipating issues, but I notice that all the games I have seemingly end in 0 or 5 (haven't thoroughly looked as that was just at a glance). Also, I wouldn't be surprised if certain characters within the ID meant something (region, type of media, etc.), So just want to be cognizant of anything that could run afoul.

No problem :) The only issue I have come across having the title ID's the same is over-writing games. That ID is what the folders on the WiiU USB drive are named so having the same ID will write different games to the same folder on your WiiU storage. That can cause issues with a lot of things such as game saves and game files being over-written / mixed together so you don't want that.

Awesome. Thanks much. So, conceivably, after validating no conflicts, I could start with like all 0s and 1 at the end and just increment them one by one. lol

@TeconMoon Is this software a GUI for the old command line/batch script? Doing some experimentation here with Wii Homebrew Injection and wondering if there are any differences between the GUI and the old command line one? Mostly wondering if in the software Wiimote Passthrough is enabled by default? BTW thanks so much for this software, I've used it several hundred times now and it's one of the best things to happen to the WiiU scene, great work :)

Here I am again. Teconmoon injector only works SOMETIMES. First "batch" i ever tried (CBHC, using Wup Installer GX2) it worked for one game and then no others. I deleted and reinstalled Teconmoon to my PC, the first test game I tried worked. Then I tried another batch of games and all of them have the same "no USB drive" error. My USB drive is certainly connected, it works fine with everything else, and certainly works for the two gamecube games that actually installed.

In your "Install" folder each game should have a folder with all the files on the root of each folder, can you confirm that for me? should be like:
SD:\Install\WUP-N-BOOT_000500029421FFF0\lots of files, .app, .cert, .h3, .tik, .tmd (no folders)

My Process is always:
-Load HomeBrew Launcher
-Load WUPInstallerGX2
-Install selected injects to USB

I do batches of 50-60 titles in a row (I don't want to admit how often I've done that lol) never an issue installing multiples

Yeo, my files are set up just like you described (remember, Ive gotten it to work for 2 out of probably 30 tries so far). I use that same process!

Ugh.

One more question - I am always installing the game files to USB in WUP Installer.

Is it possible to try to install to NAND, but move it over to USB in system management? Any downsides to this?

I successfully used the program to convert gamecube games and injected them to my USB hd. Nintendont is on the SD card and they booted up great after using wup to install. I take the SD card out and it can't find nintendont. Is there a way to put nintendont on the nand so I dont have to have the SD card in all the time?

Both of these are probably implementable, I dabbled with custom boot sounds but figured it was out of scope for an initial release. I will add both of these to a to-do list :)
when I installed animal crossing city folk i get the error code 160-2793, i did everything right i even had to re download the game again and again from every website, please help me, it may be because i have mario kart wii? because they use the same title key

Edit the title key and change a few numbers at the end to a number that no other games uses.
