If it does release with any sort of "loading" as stated, all the noobs who were too cheap to pay for SX will flood in, do everything wrong, and ask why it didn't work.
Leaving in such an easy failure point is just asking for trouble.

Excuse me Mr experienced hacker, got sx pro and im very about muy purchase despite I m not loading backups very often.

And I will be happier when reinx and atmosphere are released. I dont need to bet for one horse only.

I’m still on 2.3.0 untouched and still hesitate to update to latest because of one or another, well emunand mostly.

I'm not betting on any single horse, nor am I advising others to.

If you enjoy SX's setup, all power to you, I just opted not to purchase their dongle at this time and am willing to wait for alternatives.
I decided I'd enjoy the fun of setting up a dongle manually from a Trinket or Gemma, and am currently preparing for setting that up.

I specifically mean those who want loading as soon as possible, have no idea what they're doing, and are too cheap to pay for SX OS.
It's a similar demographic to those that use LayeredFS for hacky loading and then get surprised when it turns out that's a terrible idea.

To play newer games, you will almost certainly have to update.

If you are content with installing AutoRCM, you can follow this guide to update without burning efuses, preserving a downgrade path for later.

Excellent Mr hacker, I was able to solder modchips when I was 12, you shouldnt judge other people's choices. For me soldering a modchip inside the switch is not an option until I get banned at least, and xecuter was an option before homebrew modchips

I appreciate your interest on setting up your own dongle, my dongle was preordered in midmay and i have been running homebrew on my switch via pegaswitch way earlier.

I honestly had no idea that sigpatches were so difficult to implement.

Does reswitched have any plans to do sigpatching on atmosphere? Can't speak for anyone else but I'm basically waiting for NSP installation support.

I don't think I ever saw any confirmation of what firmwares ReiNX would be shooting for. Since the bootrom exploit works on all firmwares, makes sense to implement it for all of them. I don't mind having to wait longer for ReiNX so it can work on all firmwares. That way, everyone gets to take a piece of the pie at the same time and not have to awkwardly wait for their piece to finish baking while others are asking for thirds.

I think the percentage of people below the latest firmware is very low. RCM exploit being firmware independent + No way of running newer games + No Emunand in the horizon + Better homebrew/layeredfs support in 5.1 already made 90% of people update to the latest firmware
