That is indeed local multiplayer (you can tell because it has its own option separate from online play). Also think of it like DS or 3DS download play. It functions without having a Wi-Fi connection but enables multiplayer for those who don't own the game.
This thread is useless now, if you want you should open a new one and updates it regularly like this one. You should update your SX too. Also be careful to use your card1 cert only on card1 games and your card2 cert on card2 games.
No not all all, if you have been keeping touch I have been doing it since the beginning alongside the op and still not banned, if you read all my comments you should follow those tips and ignore the op he was doing well but he went silly in the end and tbh I have read his ban list and I'm not surprised! I have started commenting since page 5, ranting at a member for using smaller certificate on a larger card 1 game and wonders why he got banned anyway but I have been testing this method out since the beginning and I'm still all ok been well over a month of testing!
With "being silly at the end" i guess you're referring to him not using cert in some games right?
I would update on 1.3 even only because they removed the brick code. Even if it never happen to brick consoles by accident is still better not to have it at all.
Yes he used card 2’s & card 1’s online without injecting certificates, he also used layeredfs back ups and used .nsp installs online, he actually broke quite a few golden rules reading in to his ban thread update which I did not know about. I think he just got complacent in the end basically got too big for his boots and slipped up unfortunately Nintendo took full advantage of the situation and issued a ban.
Edit: I know this is not related to our conversation but I read yours above and yes he certainly should update his sx boot.dat to version 1.3! He should always update sx os all the time they are not going to mention every little bit of new code entry but it could be vital

If your from the USA or anywhere else don’t try this injecting method, if your from the uk or eu great we can roll on also have you used any sort of layeredfs with atmosphere yet or tried any back up loading with the switch I need to know what you have done so far not using sx os! That would help me to begin with. You must stick to these rules at all times at least until the ban wave has stopped or slowed down or TX comes up with better security in the updates.

The LA Noire donor your using for the certificate have you collected your reward coins on the retail original boxed game in the Switch main menu (title/icon press + click reward link) before you used the certificate and used the back up? If you have not there is a possibility you’ve already been flagged for a ban. I didn't tried anything like layeredfs, cdn download, etc.
But I have already loaded and tried SX OS. I never go online while sitting on SX OS.
I have loaded a few games which are cart type 1 and with injected cert of LA Noire (EU).
I never tried to clear error logs while switching between SX OS and Horizon. I heard it is also a ban cause.
I have deselected error sharing option from the beginning before SX OS.
I hope that until now i have followed every rule on this topic

This is why I am very apprehensive about helping or suggesting what I have done myself to others because I get responses like these from time to time within the thread that makes me stop and think am I doing the right thing if the person gets a banned Nintendo Switch I then would feel responsible and I don’t want that.
