TBH, I doubt anyone is working on getting that to work. Rule of thumb is "no online" if you are planning on exploiting your console.

Yes, there are 5.50-5.55 fully exploitable in private. No, we dont know when. So keep your 5.55 for now. And you can't be able to transfer your PSN profile at all.
obrigadoMaybe i wasn't clear with the question, i'm not looking for online play i just want my saves. And maybe trophies but those still work even if the console is offline right?
You won't be able to transfer them to the other system due to there is no public release of the 5.5x exploit yet, no estimated time of release either, to do this you need both systems being exploitable and share the keystone files to be injected into the fake package games.
Somone is supposed to be working on an exploit but one hasn't been released yet. I recommend buying an older firmware from eBay.
