Fusée Gelée works: Untested

I know I should keep searching for this but I'm having a hard time finding it, what's the fastest way to test Fusée Gelée without using the console too much?
It's still in it's packaging and I don't want it to be too obvious that I've been using it if possible.
Use rcm jig. Boot into rcm. Send payload.

Thanks for explaining that in simple terms to me...

I know how to boot into rcm, but as for the payload - whoosh

You can use either of these to send payload to your RCM switch.
1. Use NXLoader android phone (need cable to connect phone to switch)
2. Use PC with TegraRcmSmash (need cable to connect PC to switch)
3. Use SX Pro usb dongle

Go to page 67 and see the video I posted for 2.

Thank you.

Another question, I've seen people mention their manufacturing date. Apparently on the back of their console. Mine only says made in China.
The box does have a trademark/copyright of 2017 though.

Its a Korean unit. The information is limited so nothing can be concluded currently.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
