Gotcha, that makes sense. I'm not too certain how to do it, but I assume it's doable.

I'm sure someone else on here has done this and could probably point you in the right direction if you need any assistance with this
Well I've been booting from my Android device. The best we've got for mobile use

Use an Android phone

If I was an Android user, I would, but I am not.

Side Note: Initial tests of Lakka booting with SX Pro have failed, though, I also had similar failures booting Lakka from the launch scripts.

New release : Lakka-Switch.aarch64-2.1-devel-20180717150034-r28284-gaddb2fddb

What's new :
  • New cores : desmume, desmume-2015 (DS emulator)
    • Some games work better with desmume, some others work better with desmume-2015
    • Make sure to read the FAQ on how to optimize the core and have the touchscreen working !
How to update : https://lakka-switch.github.io/documentation/update.html

Is this a CFW? or is it retroarch?
I'll answer first or my comment will be useless. If you read the forum's you would know.

Lakka
is a lightweight Linux distribution that transforms a small computer into a full blown retrogaming console. I used Google, just to see how easy it was for you. It's its own OS ( operating system )

How's n64 emulation? I have emulators for most other things that work and have sound. If there's decent N64 emulation, then it will be worth it now until we get good GC emulation.

Send me your Switch and $50, I'll install a better LCD screen on it which doesn't burn easily

I mean, even though the statement was rude, he is right, fixing the screen burns is part of what's required (with a lot of other usability fixes, like sound, docked mode...etc) for a lot of people here to jump in and start using lakka ;)
