And it also only matters if you are willing to pay for online.I still don’t understand people who mod their switch and afraid of getting banned...
That’s just fucking stupid
Jesus man, I just asked a question, never said I was scaredI still don’t understand people who mod their switch and afraid of getting banned...

Very true. I’m not willing to pay for online. Guess I should stop worrying about a ban. LolAnd it also only matters if you are willing to pay for online.
Oh, yeah it doesn't, go figure. A NAND backup is much cleaner than a system format.Im not asking IF i get banned, I want an answer to, will Reseting my switch make it completely clean again
thanksOh, yeah it doesn't, go figure. A NAND backup is much cleaner than a system format.

You do not need to perform a NAND backup prior to using SX OS. There are 2 main reasons it is good idea to make a NAND backup.Silly question, do you need SX OS to do a nand backup?
Also what does this achieve? I keep the NAND backup somewhere safe? Then when would I need to use it again?
The SD card lol. The whole point of backing up the NAND is so you can retrieve it without having to physically open your console.ok thanks. When you backup the NAND does it go on internal memory or SD card?
Trying to mitigate a ban by restoring a "clean" backup is a bad practice, unless you haven't touched internet after backing it up, the logged information will differ from the ones Nintendo has on their servers and will most likely get you banned. You do not need to perform a NAND backup prior to using SX OS. - In case something happens to your Switch, recovery without this is nearly impossible so it is always a good thing to have on hand especially when hacking the console
- If made prior to using SX OS or any hacks, it can be restored prior to going online to mitigate a potential ban. However, this is not an effective long term solution as eventually you can wear out the Switch's internal eMMC this way
