It might not all be innocuous repercussions. There are people that harass others offline over less and she isn't exactly private about info.

So essentially the gist of this whole thread is people are butthurt that an exploit was disclosed by Ktempkin which inadvertently caused the "Deja Vu" exploit that was being saved to be patched? After reading through this 20-something pages of garbage that's what I've gathered.

Yeah I agree, the level of emotional maturity in all this is very low on all sides. I don’t care who did what, but how it has been handled shows very poor judgment on all this and very big sense of “entlitlement”!

A lot of hackers seem to get stuck on one system, or get sick of the drama so they don't follow on to the next generation of console to help... this drama is a good example of why.

So.. what should people do then, be happy about this and give up on Switch hacking as a whole? There's not really much that can be done, yes? DeJavu won't even be released now, and the scene forever stagnant. Thanks to squealers no doubt. You sound as if you're happy it's been patched.

the scene is not gonna be fucking stagnant lol fusee gelee still exists for every switch (so far) and deja vu being patched on new switches wont change a goddamn thing

just read that from your attachment for the first time. You know what else is nuts? If it's true that it was never submitted for bug bounty, and was used for something unrelated (pixel C... android tablet?), then is is indeed SciresM that has brought this to light with Ninty because of the drama. It ~~would~~ could possibly now be HIS fault if it gets patched.

Not that I would have ill feelings about it. Lord knows I have a bad temper and it is very unlike him to lose his cool.

Nah, there was this hacker with a Susie Avatar and he basically looked at her code and copied it. When she tried to speak out he pelted her with snow balls until she gave up.
