There is a cert file in the directory of CDNSP but I think it stays the same for all downloads. Idk what the cert file is needed for.

Well OP said it generates a cert file for the downloaded game. My question is if it’s the correct one matching the game? The certificate file is needed to play online, just like how it’s currently being done for the XCI games.

Some of the digital games are the exact same TITLEID as their cartridge counterparts. I wonder if there is a way to compare the two to see if the generated tickets/cert are the same.

To be honest, the easiest way to find out is by trying it and see if you can play online. I haven’t gotten cdnsp to work correctly so just curious to hear from the people that have.

You're gonna have to give a little more info than saying it won't install. Errors? Which game? etc.

okay, sx os 1.3
Using AnalogMan's MacOS variant to download nsps. Any nsp actually. they dont install.
But when I download them off someone's collection (there is a Mega folder), they install and work.

Even with a banned switch? I thought this used my switch cert? Are Nintendo really that bad at preventing piracy?
You can be banned and use this, correct. Yes, they attempted to stem piracy, but SX has stripped the title checks so it works regardless. Will likely be banned online though.

Even banned you can update games that were installed from nsp files using devmenu from what I understand. Can someone back me up on that.

So does it generate Legit Certs? Dont see the point of the tool atm. what would be the Benefit? Since it seems, we get banned.

I can confirm this I was banned a few weeks ago and have installed stardew valley using dev menu and then updated.

How did you guys get banned? Using devmenu? I’ve been using SX OS since day 1 with no problem. I’m even playing online with injected certificates on my xci games.

Obviously I can't be sure what banned me but I believe it was Layered FS however just before I had also upgraded my switch without burning fuses and then SX OS burnt my fuses so could be to do with that too. In summary I have no idea :)

Well I’ve been good so far and just downloaded dev menu last night. So if I get banned, I’ll update with known reason

Thanks for this, looks great. I had to edit various path separators and the like to get it working on Mac, so I'm attaching that modified version in case anyone else with a Mac wants it. Based on OP's current version at the time of this post. It might also be helpful for Linux I guess, once you give it a Linux hactool binary.

e: would really help if I actually attached the file...
Any updated version of this? Thanks!
