If you are scared of being online to download from eShop then you're already banned... I'm still not banned, SX OS Wi-Fi on, updating games directly on my home screen while being on SX, starting to think I'm not gonna get banned using the switch the way I use it.
You won't. Alot of people are just being paranoid. i've been rocking sx os online (for legit games) for 2 weeks and haven't encountered any problems.

Today i send Nintendo a email bc i want to change my email address but i dont confirmed my old email, then Nintendo write to me back and said
To change my email i must give them my Serial number from my console etc.
It is possible that Nintendo can't ban me because that?
(sorry for my english)

While I want to say yes, I've never ever heard of anyone being banned due to giving a company their device's serial number. What I will say is that Nintendo has other, more secure ways of identifying devices so if they want to ban you, they will most likely utilize those instead.

I've been using it the same way as I was before SX OS, the first 2 days I was all, airplane no wifi, OFW to update games but then I said fuck it. I reiterate that I've never played online games that are not legit, only single player games backups.

Will using TXOS layeredfs less risky than hekate? I want to install the dev menu but i feel Nintendo logs everything on titles from their appstore.

@yadspi mind if I ask if you are using trimmed XCI files and injecting your own certs into the single player backups?
Downloaded trimmed versions online and 2-3 I trimmed myself with XCI Cutter, then just put them on the SD Card, nothing more, majority are BBB releases.

This whole banning situation has got me in a whirlwind of mixed feelings. I can respect Nintendo coming down hard to prevent piracy, lest this get as bad as it did with the DS but Dax just wants his homebrew without having to piss his pants when he gets banned. I want my emulators and doom ports, god dammit.

Yeah, when you’re just into homebrew, and not pirating games. It’s a pity you get banned.
Sure, it’s still breaking the TOS, but you’re not stealing away money from them, you’re still buying your games. So maybe’s just turn a blind eye to those people :D

Or, we buy a second Switch.
Or, we just accept the possibility of a ban.
Or, we just don’t hack.

That’s pretty much the lot of it.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
