Hey,

i am currently using SX-OS and everything is working fine.
Anyway, i really dislike my current way to get stuff on my sd-card.
Each time i put my SD-Card back to the switch, i have to restard becouse of whatever. So i also need a new RCM boot each time.

Is there a more "convinience-solution"? I tried the early FTPD release, but it keeps crashing.

Any alternatives?

Thanks in Advance!

You can transfer files over ftp but you need to be online/use vlan to access your switch ofc and its only really worth it for homebrews and emulator roms since it takes a while to transfer bigger files with the amazing wifi card of the switch. I only use it for gba roms or homebrews atm, for everything else i take out the sd card.

If you don't mind the reboot to other payload, there is memloader that allows sd card access (at 6mb per second write or so).

HacDiskMount maybe. But i can't remember if you can edit sdcard content...

Memloader includes an SD ini that mounts the SD card as a USB, accessible through Explorer; no special software needed. It transfers at around 6-7MB/s which isn’t bad, but a far better solution would be to use a USB 3.0 MicroSD to USB adapter which can reach very high speeds.

Of course, either solution requires rebooting the Switch, so FTP might be what’s needed here. Speeds shouldn’t be bad either. Although if it’s crashing, you may have to deal with other solutions until it becomes more stable.
