So I have tried the save editor and it works great! I found something weird when I restored the files and checked my blade arts for Shulk and Fiora. It seems the the three arts equipped for these blades have disappeared and now blank. I have a backup save of I'm fine but its really far back and I would like to find a fix for this.

Heres a pic of it and the save files if anyone wants

Here is the guide I used to get CFW on my Switch. https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-hacking-101-how-to-launch-the-homebrew-menu-on-all-fw.504012/ and I use Yall Are Nuts as my save dump and injector - https://gbatemp.net/threads/yallarenuts-save-tool-aka-switch-save-dump-hack-job-by-3096.503569/. IF you are using your own save, I assume you know how to at least dump the save. The Nuts tool just requires you to put that save into the inject folder and and use the button prompt on the tool to inject it back.

Okay so I tried to use it, this is where I'm at:
Windows 10 X64 with fully updated .NET (4.7+)
Checkpoint 3.3 for backup/restore
Can start latest build (1.1) and open savegame but as soon as I try to save, it crashes. Even when not doing any modification (not going full retard 999999 everywhere)
I managed to increase my money & crystals with previous version (the very simple one, different github folder) and save+reinject my savegame no prob

There really seems to be an issue with the latest revision

Whenever I try to give myself new items, look into the database, match ID's, the items dont show up in the game. They seem to be there, technically, since even when I save, dump it and open it again, the editor says the items are there.. What am I doing wrong?

Update: From what I can tell, the editor just doesnt let you add items. Replacing existing items works though

I meant like a video tutorial but ill give this a shot and also does it require homebrew?

This sounds like the symptoms of trying to use an old game version save on the new installer - as I did the same thing. While I can't confirm what versions the newest one does work on other than the latest game version (1.5), I can tell you that with my 1.1 save, it would just close with no changes. Which sounds just like your situation.

Do not also forget, like I did, that even if you upgraded your console to the latest version and then downloaded the game version downloads, until you actually save again - your save is still considered 1.x that is not 1.5 (for example, I was on 4.1.0 and had been playing a good bit on verion 1.1 of the game. Finally decided it was time to upgrade and get the latest versions of all my games - and since I was now on the latest I figured I would give these a try. So everything updated, extracted the save with checkpoint and gave it a shot - no dice on the new program but money and crystals worked just fine on the old one. Gave it a thought and realized I hadn't actually booted and re-saved my game, so i loaded up the modified save, confirmed the increased moolah and shinies, and then just saved it again. Re-exported that save and then bam - new version worked (because I saved it while I was on 1.5)

That actually makes a lot of sense and sounds like the solution to my problem ! I would try it but being offline on SX OS, I'm afraid of updating anything at the moment...

That's assuming they're on the latest OFW :( which was my problem at first. Followed that guide to upgrade without fuses and then updated everything - was very nice.

EDIT: I guess with SX OX yo uhave to be on the latest? so yeah, just boot OFW and update :)

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
