Just use the editor, it's extremely simple. You can do all of that in 30 seconds using the old editor.

It's in the first post. One is labeled Old and one is New. The old one can edit money, stats, WP and SP. The new one can edit items. I personally use both.

I'm not sure what you don't understand. Download the old editor and open your save. Use the buttons on the right to pick a category, then use the drop down menu to select what you want to edit. Type in the number you want and press the button. When you're done, save the file and put it back on your Switch.
I tried using this but I can't get it working. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong with Savepoint / this editor or if it's the fact i'm playing using on a Japanese copy. Can anyone confirm if this works with a Japanese copy, if not, can someone be able to make it work on a Japanese copy. And or, just in case, a step by step instructions on Save Point ==> This editor ==> Save Point? I'm not exactly sure where the error is coming from
actually, i think this thing is forceclosing on me on both old and new version when I hit save. The window closes like 3 seconds after i hate save, not sure if this is normal or not. Using W10 x64.
I am using w10 x64 make sure you have the latest windows and you have .net framework latest.
What I am using right now is the old the new and the compiled version in a zip with everything on it.

At last I was able to completely restore the arts of Fiora and Shulk. I have observed through the hex editor that when you save the savedata with the new save editor, it deletes a part of the dlc savegame data. Concretely the driver arts and the challenge log.
Is your game fully updated to 1.5? The editor did the same thing to me with 1.0 and stopped closing once I updated my game. It doesn't seem to work properly with the old game versions anymore.
Care to explain exactly what you did? The process could help a lot of people here. And me too once I decide to do the DLC haha.

I'm still having trouble getting the editors to work can someone please just make me a save? or at least make a detailed tutorial for me.

I do not think I can update it? I have a physical copy but I'm actually trying this on my SXOS Switch , which don't think I can update it? I don't really want to try it with my legit switch and copy of the game.

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
