Using dslazy v0.6
- Open dslazy
- Select the japanese ROM of Bleach DS ("...")
- Click unpack. Then he will create a folder named: NDS_UNPACK (inside the dslazy folder)
- Copy the sdat folder ( NDS_UNPACK\data\data), and paste anywhere you want in your PC
- Delete NDS_UNPACK, current.nds and nds_info.txt (These 3 are in the dslazy folder)
- Unpack the USA ROM
- Copy the sdat that you copied earlier to the new NDS_UNPACK in the properly place (NDS_UNPACK\data\data)
- On the dslazy... click "nds packer", he will ask where you want to save it and the name of the "new" ROM!
That's it!
Anyone familiar with DSLazy who wish to write up a quick tut on how to swap the sound files? I really don't want to hear the english dubs (unless they are decent, probably pale in comparison to the original japanese dubs).

Works like a charm. The original voices are sooo soo much better.
Uh... dont get it.. its not very good the sound for the characters are totally different to the Japanese one..

And that's why you do the lil' swap trick and swap the English sound files with the Japanese ones, and voila very nice game.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't like dubs. Ruins the whole japanese part of it. Yah, I wouldn't mind the text where they talk in English, but gameplay sounds should stay in Japanese.
I was playing Bleach: BoF, and just thought that the dubbed game sounds were stupid. Like Renji: "Let's go, Zabimaru" and "If YOU don't attack, then I will!" Wtf.

Man, read above. A lot of people including me just swapped the sound files so we don't have to listen to dubbed sounds.
You give it a 6/10 based on the little sound clips?
The Bleach games are by far the best fighters on the DS.

I guess you have a point. I gave it a low score cuz I compared it to other Bleach fighters. Bleach 2 rocked. But now, I'm thinking of giving it around a 7.5 to 8.5 /10. And Bleach and JUS are the ONLY fighters I play on DS.
And Bleach is not a button-mashing game. There are combos and strategies. Not just pressing buttons. That's why it pwns the other fighters out there.

I haven't completed the game yet, but it's a good game so far. It's a nice fighting game where you can pick it up any time for a quick couple of fights. The major downfall is not having Urahara as a playable character. Urahara and Rukia are my favourite characters so at least you can unlock Rukia.
