Make sure your emu files are up to date. I had the same problem with VBA and Snes9x2010 until I updated the files (which had been on my SD card for ages). Now they're running fine, even Starfox. VBA runs incredibly well
gracias por respondedor, los emuladores hijo del hilo de retroarch de hace poco pantalla completa, en teoria son ultimas versiones

Maybe, yes.

We don't know, Nintendo has stated they now have a way to see if there is actually a cart in the system that may be why the new carts. This may be their way to block SX OS from working.

We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Not that I question you, but I couldn't find info on this. Source?

I will have to find it in the morning, it's bed time. It was from today or yesterday someone linked and article to it, here on GBA.

Now whether Nintendo is lying or not, who knows. Could be a reason .for the cart change though. If you can't find I'll find in the morning for ya.

I decided not to make a new topic for this question and instead ask it here in hopes of getting a answer xD:

1.1 has fuse protection. What exactly does that mean? Does that mean that I also can update my switch to 5.1 while in cfw and don't burn fuses? Can I use it to get xfat support

Without SX OS you don't need to prevent it, since LayeredFS recognizes that not all fuses are burnt and keeps going. SX OS V1 did burn fuses to the current firmware if you have updated without burning fuses. SX OS V1.1 has a fuse protection and don't burn them anymore, but it seems that you can't load the updated firmware, so it's pretty useless for now.

Half of the Homebrew I install doesn't even work anyways. I install it from the Homebrew app store, and upon launch, I get an error. And the error doesn't even tell me what's wrong.

What's new in this release?

> Improved homebrew compatibility

We've had reports of some homebrew not running at full speed or not working at all, these issues have been resolved. As you're probably aware, you can enjoy homebrew with SX OS for FREE! (without a license)

> Added fuse burn protection

Some people are worried about burning their consoles' fuses, preventing downgrades and possibly hindering upcoming emuNAND support. To put these minds at ease we now prevent these fuses from burning.

> Support user cert in XCI

To play online your game (XCI) files need to have a unique certificate embedded. We now properly emulate these certificates, so dumps that have them embedded will be able to play online! Beware though, it is *not* advised to share a certificate with multiple people. Your best option is to make a backup of your own cartridges for the games that you want to play online. A way to do this currently is using WAIN v0.0.3, which can be found here: https://www.maxconsole.com/threads/release-wain-xci-switch-cartridge-dumper-v0-0-3.47167/

In the future we will add our own user friendly cartridge backup functionality to SX OS.

That's it for now. We have much more coming for our userbase (CARD2 anyone?) and we hope you're all enjoying SX OS. Finally, we want to apologize to the people who are currently anticipating the arrival of their SX Pro... It will be worth the wait though!

So noone is gonna ask wtf they were burning fuses for???

no why would xecuter burn fuses? There's no reason too. Also if its to prevent downgrading this makes no sense...if they burn fuses then they have no right to do that. This is just what xecuter do.
I believe that fuse burning was most likely a package1 leftover. They must have added a code patch in the latest version to prevent that.

Nintendo did it not the X. Don’t assume. Makes an ass of u and me

And if you actually read the update for 1.1 you would see it says Xecuter fixed that issue.
