Not bad, but why on earth do we have to use a pre-configured db.xml ?? Why we can't just pick our roms on our own? Why do I need to edit the xml? Just let me browse my Rom and start it.

I have all my roms unpacked and properly named and it's really a pain in the ass not just picking the rom I want.

Really unusable for me.

So ungrateful, self-centered, and entitled. No one cares about your life story. You didn't pay for this. Cpasjuste has been kind enough to use valuable free time and do this for the community. How about you develop all that you're clucking about and release it.

With current homebrew exfat is a nono sd card corruptions will happen just reformat to dat32 and you won't have the problem anymore

Darn. I'll look into partitioning.

Awesome! Love the PFba design. Question however, can you allow Roms of other names allowed? I'd like to run games and hacks not in the list.

Then don't use it, beggars can't be choosers, showing a little more gratitude wouldn't hurt, either.

Didn't TX say that until now, only "conventional" way of installing homebrew is supported (whatever that is) and homebrew works only up until 3.0.0?

Q: Can SX products run homebrew software as well?
A:
The initial release of SX OS will not have support yet for running homebrew software for all firmware versions. Currently only the standard method for installing homebrew is supported, which means limited to the specific firmware version 3.0.0.
We are in the final stages on adding support for running homebrew software regardless of firmware version and we expect to have this included with one of the first SX OS updates.

Then again, in next FAQ it said

So I don't really know what's the case

I guess it wont work with snes, gba emulators, but i can play OPEN BOR games just fine with my switch, indeed the emulators open just fine, but when trying to load a rom it just gives you a black screen, tested with VBA NEXT and this snes emulator, nes emulator worked for me.

Guess the SX/TX OS isn't all it's cracked up to be if emulators won't run on it =/

It seems there is some sdcard corruption somewhere. I have some file randomly disappearing (roms, config file etc..). I didn't had this problem before (was on 3.0.0 + fat32, now 5.1 + exFAT). I'm not sure if the problem comes from pSNES or something else (5.1, exFAT, hekate..).

well that makes 2 of us. I was going to question this thought I was crazy. Had to backup sd and recopy after reformat just to make this thing work. So yeah app is corrupting sd cards. No bueno. The card I use is fat32.

In my case I ended up having issues with the wrong rom set not zipped like staying on the card perma no matter what i did.

It it just me, or is there a linear filter with no way to disable it? It doesn't seem as crisp as I feel like it should be. cpasjuste's pFBA is great, too, but I can't stand blurry filters obscuring the pixels, and the linear filter on that is enabled by default, so I always have to make sure to switch it off on every game.

Is there a filter on this, and if so, can there be an option to disable it?

If you press (-) in the rom list you can enable/disable options for all games, except if you change the per game config (+).

On pSNES, point filtering is disabled for now as its way to slow.

I think, reverse that, in pFBA. (-) opens individual configurations, while (+) opens main, for me, using v1.55. However, it doesn't seem to take. I have Point configured in main, but then when I open up a game without its own individually configuration, it still defaults to Linear. I've tried it with multiple games from several systems to see if there was any variance. It consistently defaults to Linear.

Ok, must be a bug on my side then. I'll take a look tomorrow.
